  • Man all those zen4 bundles are absolutely awful. Adding almost $400 to a 7600x for a 240mm aio?!

Monitors all a step too big in the size department. 1080p@27in and 1440p@32 is too big.

Only thing that I'd ever snatch from that list would be the rm1000x and model O mouse. I can't speak for the keyboards but everything else seems to be pretty bad value or cheaper elsewhere.

Never heard of vinal records and since your argument cant possibly mean vinyl records because it would make zero sense, I have no clue what you're talking about.

    • +2

Mechanical keyboards are worse than the much cheaper keyboards.

      Explain?

It's like boomers wanting to buy Vinal records.

      Explain?

You have no idea what you're talking about

      much cheaper keyboards

What, the cheap chiclet-style laptop-inspired keyboards?

Awful ergonomics and virtually no key travel. They were designed to be super thin for laptops only, but somehow the design has been adopted with regular keyboards now (I think Apple started that trend but I could be wrong…).

must have been quite the bender you were on last night.

  • The 2 Key just died on my keyboard, so i'm shopping around, can't seem to find any info on this one online.

    Any reviews etc?

    • Lmao holy shit what are the chances?? My 2 key also broke a week or two ago and I've been looking for a new keyboard since. Finally decided to get the Akko one above since it dropped to $79.

      • I grabbed it also, happy enough with it so far but I'm not really a keyboard connasaur, turned off all leds and it works fine.

        • Glad that’s an option since I find leds too distracting. Only thing missing is the lack of media keys but I guess I’ll make do. Out of curiosity, was your old keyboard also a Corsair?

@ChillBro: Nah it was an Alienware $300 job that I scored for like 60 bucks on hear about 5 years ago. glad this one doesn't have any software required to control all the functions.

            • @Kegsta: Hey mate, would you happen to know where we can find the manual for this keyboard? Checked the site and it doesn't seem to list this model. https://en.akkogear.com/download/

              • @ChillBro: I have it on my desk, i can make a copy if you like

                • @Kegsta: You're a lifesaver! I threw mine away along with the box immediately after I plugged it in since I've never needed a manual for a simple keyboard lol.

I wouldn't want to trouble you to make a copy of the entire thing but could you skim through it to see how the volume knob is used? Rotating it obviously changes the volume but I noticed it can also be pressed down. I was hoping it was a play/pause media button similar to other Akko keyboards with volume knobs but it does nothing when I try it.

Edit: just tried downloading both the cloud driver and the wired driver from the akko site but neither worked.

@ChillBro: That is the entire thing. An the pages in English anyway.
No idea on the volume control sorry, I've never used the multimedia buttons on any keyboard really.

                    • @Kegsta: Ah ok fair enough, I'll contact them and see what they say. Thanks again!
