  Like many Switch games, framerate is noticeably low when docked but plays great hand-held. For those playing on Xbox already, there's a form of cross progression. You just have to upload/download your save from the menu.

    Yep, this one benefits greatly from a GPU overclock if you have a modded switch.

    Isn't it usually the other way around? I understood that switches throttle the GPU in handheld mode as a power saving measure, but docked it runs at full clock speeds to avoid draining the battery too quickly.

      Yep. But low fps is less noticeable on a smaller screen. And this game generally gets 15-30fps docked or hand-held.

      Depends on how the games optimised. Many games seem to be more optimised for handheld play.

      One factor, but not the only one, is in handheld the systems only pushing up to 720p while devs often target 900 or 1080p docked and often the increased performance gets countered by the higher resolutions being pushed.

      Devs might apply other tweaks etc that can end up favouring handheld mode.

  I really enjoyed this game and it's humor. Played on Switch and PS5 using cross save functionality. Obviously PS5 ran smoother and looked significantly better, however it was still fine on the Switch. If the Switch is your only option to play it, for $19 it's a great purchase.

      There were 12 games on that 2 for $30 Promotion Offer, but I picked Cadence Of Hyrule: Crypt of the Necrodancer, as this is the game I haven't played.
