I can recommend the Noco Genius series, I use the Genius 5 for topping up camping batteries

  • I recommend the genius 10, top up my euro car AGM battery as it has a dash cam fitted. Excellent quality no issues.

    • Your euro car runs on a AGM battery? It's a 3rd party battery right, not stock battery?

    Gooloo is the best imho

    • Why did you say that?

From many YouTube comparison videos before I purchased by Gooloo

  • It seems like they've gone to great lengths to conceal/obscure the thickness of the battery in the product images.

This is probably a better deal extra 250 amps for 16 bux. Deal of the day: NOCO Boost HD GB70 2000A 12V UltraSafe Lithium Jump Starter Box, Car Battery Booster, Jump Start Pack, Portable Power Bank Charger, and Jumper Cable Leads for up to 8L Petrol and 6L Diesel Engines https://amzn.asia/d/77Ry1Hc

Super cheap auto selling the same one for double the price

    • I was in the market for two jump starters and that's what I thought as well, I ended up buying a NOCO GB70 & Gooloo GT4000s - didn't want to put both my eggs in the same basket.

There's other pros of the GB70 over the GBX55 apart from the 250A peak current difference:
      - 56Wh battery capacity vs 46Wh on the GBX55
      - 12v outlet for running accessories like dashcams, fridges, tyre inflators
      - 400 lumen torch vs 200 on the GBX55

The two advantages the GBX55 would have are:
      - Faster recharging as it can take 60W over USB-C rather than 36W of the GB70
      - 60W USB-C power delivery

I don't think buying a GBX jump starter for the 60W USB-C port is worth it considering the small battery & high cost as you can get the Gooloo GT4000s with a 99.4Wh battery capacity & 100W USB-C charging for less. A GBX55 costs so much you could buy a normal jump starter & separate 60W USB-C PD 20000mah (74Wh) powerbank and save money over the NOCO option.

      • What's the pros of Gooloo GT4000s over the NOCO GB70 and GBX55, other than price?

        • Not an expert on jumper packs. But the GB70 has a safety feature where if u connect / mix up the positive and negative battery terminals on your car it wont explode or mess it up. So its pretty good for them femalea to use. They wont mess up your car. Ahahaha

          The GT4000s isn't the exact model Project Farm tested against the NOCO GB70, he tested the cheaper Gooloo GP4000 in this video but if we assume the Gooloo GT4000s & GP4000 perform about the same;

          The pros of the GT4000s:
          - Packs a harder punch, delivering 619 amps at 7.6 volts (4705 watts) for 3 seconds
          - Has a larger 99.2Wh battery inside vs 56Wh on the GB70
          - Features both a 12v outlet & 100W USB-C PD charging
          - Has a LCD display which can help with troubleshooting but it lacks a voltmeter so it might be more useful for when you use it as a powerbank
          - Comes bundled with a 100W 12V charger

          The pros of the GB70:
          - Boosts for much longer, delivering 588 amps at 5.8 volts (3410 watts) for 13 seconds)
          - Its a commercially proven product, pretty common to see these (and GB150s) used by roadside assistance providers
          - Its much heavier at 1669g with noticeably thicker gauge cables than the GT4000s (1394g with jumper leads) despite the Gooloo having a higher capacity battery so I would assume build quality is much better with NOCO even if its specs aren't as good on paper

Overall pretty happy with both purchases. The GT4000s' larger battery allows it to run the 12v thermoelectric fridge/heater in my car for 8hrs opposed to 4hrs the GBX55 would manage, and with 100W power delivery it can charge my laptop (which uses a 130W USB-C power adapter) while with just 60W my laptop wouldn't charge very fast, if at all.
