I hope I've posted this correctly.

Costco have a slighly lower RRP on the iPhone 14 series. Of course membership is required.

Like most places, you'll need to be notified of stock for when you can buy one.

  • iPhone 14 Pro - 256GB $1839.99 - Out of Stock
  • iPhone 14 - 128GB $1349.99 (Starlight, Red & Blue colours still in stock)

  • Looking for iPhone 14 256GB Purple, wondering if $1,529.99 is the best price currently?

I think we'll be hard pressed to find any discounts unless we use gift card hacks etc. My union gives me 5% off which works out better than Costco

      • There is a limit “Maximum of 8 cards only can be reedeemed in 1 transaction” so union gift cards are not better deals.

        • For iPhone 14 Pro
5% off is $94.95 discount (plus $1 processing fee) so $93.95 off.
          This costco deal is $59.01

          • @Skullytor: Maximum of 8 cards only can be reedeemed in 1 transaction” >>> you can only redeem max 8 x $100 = $800 in one transaction, you only save 5% of $800. Please check terms and conditions. I wish you can prove that I am wrong.

            • @BenTran: My union lets me buy a single card at a chosen amount - I bought a single digital gift card valued at $1899 (actually I added an extra $50 for my account to buy apps/subscriptions) @5% off + $1 processing fee.
Similar if you buy online via apple.com - you get to choose to put in an amount up to $3,000 (obviously no 5% off there)

I suspect only the physical gift cards are limited to smaller amount?

              • @Skullytor: Thanks. We may have different unions. I use unionshopper.

Are there any deals for the 14 plus?

Edit: Slightly cheaper than rrp, but the one I want, 128GB is out of stock in midnight colour

  • Can I enter Costco without its membership card? (Window shopping)

    • Technically no, they always check cards at the door. But it wouldn't be that difficult to walk in with someone or go in through the food area.

    • I have heard but not tried, if you have Costco gift card, they’ll let you in.

Say you’re going to sign up, then walk straight past the sign up desk…

      • If someone supposedly is in Australia as a tourist, do they need to pay a $60 annual fee just to explore Costco?

        • +2

          Yes

          • @Murkymerv: You'll need Costco membership to explore a Costco. I'm saying that you won't need to pay $60 as a tourist if you have a foreign Costco membership as it is recognised internationally

      • +4

They check the membership card before/ while scanning items (Source: self being a Costco member).

      • Hope you get arrested.

    • Still won't be able to buy as your card needs to be presented at the register

    • Pay for vent conduits blueprints before. You’ll need it when whole security team will be chasing you

  • Will officeworks price beat? Someone told that they do not because of the membership, while there are some people who got pricebeat. Little bit confusing…

    • Will officeworks price beat?

      no

    • It depends on your luck and who you talk to. I've gotten Officeworks to price beat Costco many, many times (both over the phone and in-store).

Haven't seen any good deal, considering the dropping AUD (against USD), took the official store deal with trade-in an old iPhone X (220), combined with Reward Gateway 5% off eGift, turned out to be A$1595 for iPhone 14 Pro 256GB Purple.

The Employee Purchase program does not include new stuff, sigh…: The following products currently do NOT have EPP discount: iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, Apple Watch SE, Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch ULTRA, Apple Watch Hermes, Apple Watch Studio, Apple Watch Edition, MacBook Pro, iPads, HomePod and HomePod mini, AppleCare+, AirPods Max, AirPods Pro 2nd Gen, AirPods 3rd Gen, iPad Magic Keyboard, Mac Studio and Studio Display, MacBook Air with M2 chip.

  • Will JB price match? (hopeful I know, but need to ask)

    • No bueno. Tried via the livechat. They said Costco prices are subscription based so they can't price match with Costco
