  I own one of these. If you're transferring large files such as 4K videos, these get extremely hot to the touch, like you can't touch it for more than 5 seconds. The transfer speeds tank by like half as well after a short time which im assuming is due to the heat.

    That tends to be the case with most fast (and even slow) USB drives, except for the expensive and bulky SanDisk Extreme.

  I have 2 of these, the build quality is excellent, only Superman could bend this one (or a hammer), though I wish it had a cap.
  It's built to be indestructible, but then its Achilles heel is you can't keep dust or pocket lint out.
