I just got the Impact Whey Isolate - 2.5kg for an absolute bargain price of $101.99. At 90% protein content it's not full of filler either.

    • That sounds expensive…. I guess cash back helps.

You used to be able to get 5kg of the wpc for $80.

Difference between wpc and wpi isn't eboig hot justify cost difference for me. Maybe if you are cutting.

      • -1

Don't compare with WPC, the isolate is more expensive than concentrate. I also got $30 cashback which makes 71.99.

        • +1

72 seems like a decent price for Iso.

  • Any good WPI from these guys? The WPI I normally get is 93% protein.

    • I've been buying WPI from them for the last 4-5 years, best value compared to its competitors if you factor in cashabck, best flavour is Smooth Chocolate.

  • Which flavour is recommended?
I'm planning to buy WPI 2.5kg.
    I have mild lactose intolerance.
    Choco brownie or caramel?

    • +1

Be mindful that the protein content is different for each flavour.

Vanilla is nice and higher protein content than other flavours.

I use it for lots of different smoothies, breakfast recipes. E.g. protein oats bircher, protein balls etc. A lot more versatile than just choc or caramel.

      • True, vanilla flavour good to use for lots of things.
But I just want to mix with milk or yoghurt for drink. I'm looking for smoothly drinking flavour.
I tried only chocolate flavour protein other brands. It's first time Myprotein.

        • Choc brownie is really good

          • @Circly: As I expected. Actually I already added choc brownie 2.5kg in my cart.

    • Chocolate Smooth. Wasn’t a fan of Choc Brownie

      • Thanks. Choc brownie is much heavier texture than Choc smooth to drink?

        • +1

Nope more like Choc brownie probably tastes like shit, I think a few of the reviews on the product page said that.
I've been buying exclusively choc smooth for last few years

    • +1

I've used their unflavoured one before. Actually it has a really mild taste of milk and I am definitely fine with it, just to get rid of other fillers/ sweeteners etc.

Sorry guys, but the prices are ridiculous. Coming from Europe, myprotein is the "cheapest" seller for protein I would say, especially considering the voucher codes which are all the time active there. $259 RRP for 5KG of Whey Protein? Don't be stupid. Even after discount and cash back that offer is "meh".

    • +4

Well 2.5kg of WPI at 169.99 down to 101.99 with $30 cashback works out to $71.99 including free express delivery is pretty damn good.

You'll struggle to find 90% WPI for less than $30 per kg inc delivery anywhere.

      • how do you get free express?

        • My bad, just standard delivery. I assumed it was Express because last time it arrived within 2 business days in Melbourne.

    • +4

So what are you saying? We should go back to Europe so we can get a better price? If you know a better quality product to be found in Oz at the same price or cheaper just post it here.

      • No, of course not, but just consider it. It's not "bargain" to pay for certain products the Aussie price stamp. ;-) Probably for some it is interesting to know, that they are getting ripped off.

        • +2

Your point is moot because there are literally no cheaper alternatives at the moment, please prove me wrong and find me WPI for less than the $28.8 that I'm paying from this deal. I've been tracking protein prices for the last 5 or so years in Aus and MP WPI hovers around $25-30/kg (after cashback) which has always been around $10 cheaper per kg than its competitors like Aminoz, BN, VPA, blackbelt etc

          • -1

@chena: I don't know what "moot" is, but I believe not something good. Well, myprotein is cheaper in comparison to other sellers in Australia, sure. But you pay more in Australia than anywhere else. That was my point.

  • Crap timing for me. Bought some off eBay the other day, brand is “pure product” lol I just hope it’s actual protein powder

    • Well they hyped their protein content very much….I had their sample tested by BN

      • What was the result? Were they legit?

      • +3

Mate, if you going to make a statement like that, then at least tell us the result.

        • +3

That's quite pathetic 43grams variation from claimed to actual?

Are there tested sample results for MP WPI?

        • Yikes!!! 😱

        • Damn.. I bought unflavoured WPC, hope things have changed since those results. I guess I can double scoop if not lol.

    • I got 1kg of WPI hydrolyzed its basically pure and i can't taste anything sweet in it. The label tells you everything you need to know

  • Got some but I'm hoping it doesn't make me too hench.

  • Choc brownie flavour is most lowest protein content just 86%.

I'll go with Salted caramel 96%.

    Thanks!

    • Salted caramel is ok but not as yummy as choc brownie.

    • Look under nutrition information. That's not 96% protein.

  • Where do you guys get your cheap creatine from?

  • Has anyone tried the vegan protein? The reviews don’t sound promising…

  • +3

MyProtein? Out of experience I hope the expiry date is more than 2 months…

Didn't work on Impact Lean Whey 5 kg.

OLIVERMYP coupon also gives 40% discount; no Cashrewards I guess.

    • +1

Gone are the days where you could stack 40% off codes with already discounted products.
Bought 5* 3kg bags of 'The Whey' at less than $20/kg

    • where is the 45% bro?
