Loaded $200 via discount giftcards on app through applepay. All worked within 2 mins and value appears on card (one $100/$200 value was instant but the another $100/$200 took a minute).
Do the discount giftcards redeem for double dollars?
Yeah for me. I used an everyone ultimate giftcard and got double points.

Looks like you have to do it via apple pay? I tried entering the card number directly and it kept getting declined.
@truetypezk: That why I opted for Ultimate everyone being able to add to applepay cause it was mentioned on previous threads.
@Sheng: I used the HIM card, also worked fine after adding to apple pay. May I know which previous thread are you referring to? I must have missed it. Cheers
@truetypezk: It wasn't directly related to giftcards but manual card enters for payment resulting in errors. I think there is a problem with the validation process as you are required to complete the transaction in 5 mins.
Do these ultimate cards work on google pay?
@deals4amar: Gpay, Samsung and ApplePay. You just hitting add card and entering card no and cvc. Better hurry as deal closes soon.
@Sheng: I managed to add on Gpay but struggling to add on Apple pay. Gpay doesn't come up as option to pay. Apple pay keeps on returning an error. I'm entering my own name in the name field, card number, 3 digit pin and expiry as 12/29

There's literally no timezone near the cbd area, but there's a kingpin at crown. Can I go to kingpin and get a card from them so I can scan it on the timezone phone app and get the double deal?
Or do I really have to do a one-off run to nearest timezone (Cranbourne maybe?) and get a card there to get the deal

I was trying to buy this today using the app, but they only seem to accept Visa credit cards. I only have a Mastercard. Any workarounds? I don't really want to physically go to Timezone right now. I could buy a Visa gift card, but they take one business day to activate.
Are you sure? I grabbed some using mastercard debit from my bank with no issue. I had to confirm via SMS through some bank protection thing though.
Thank you so much for the reply! It inspired me to check again. After I create the order, there is only one radio button to select VISA. However, I just tried selecting that anyway, and put my Mastercard details in. It still worked! 🤷

I wish the OP has mentioned for newbies like me that a physical card is needed before hand. I had put a 5PM alarm for today the day this deal was posted and couldn't figure out how to add money via tha app (As the deal page suggested). Didn't realise you need a physical card.
My fault in not knowing the nitty gritties but wish so bad in the post it had mentioned that one needs a physical card to begin with.They will have promos like this again..

Never been to Timezone before and found it pretty nice.@archieduh: Going crazy now after COVID19. Making it a "date night location" after securing "cheaper rentals" but the machines are expensive. Looking at some machines and their RRP is $75k AUD. But at $3 almost per play it worth it probably.

Bought the card. Added the card to app but app shows no balance on card.
Called the venue and they said they are able to see the balance.
Now when I go to reload or try to do anything on app it says to me card not verified and when I go to verify the card and enter the CVV, it gives an error that card associated with another account.
Anyone else faced the same now or before? Assuming there might be a delay after which the card may show the right details in the app?Update: after 2 hours it updated the app with correct details.
