    $3.99 a month for 3 months, not $3.99 for 3 months

    • as still a good deal
  • +4

Would there be an option to change to premium?

This offer is limited to Disney+ Standard in Australia (including its territories)

Urgh, I'll hand in my Ozbargain license now. I signed up yesterday for $4.99. I am ashamed.

    • +42

We all make mistakes. I forgot to cancel my (4th) free Apple TV trial before renewal date and had to pay retail price for a full month. I couldn't sleep for a week.

      • +3

Sometimes you ask chat and the refund

Now think about that at night

        • I did that with Blinkist, but they were so nice I just accepted the 50% discount

    • +3

Only if one intended to subscribe for the first month only.

Since this deal ends on 30/7/24, I assume one can cancel before the end of this month, then after the month's subscription has ended sign up again using this deal for 3 months.

    • Happens to the best of us

    • +1

You are, the weakest link, goodbye!

    • I don’t think you’ve made a mistake at all because the offer you signed up for was for 4 months rather than 3, so you’re ultimately saving more. But someone please enlighten me if I’m missing something here.

  • +10

But will this waive your right to take Disney to court if you get hurt in their theme park?

    • +5

Yes it will. It's in the terms and conditions. I would suggest signing up with your internet alias so the two aren't linked. They do not do identity checks when you sign up. If you fail to pay the subscription fee in advance the service is cut off. They don't bother with debt collection so no need to use your legal name.

Disney+, turning once-upon-a-time into once-upon-a-agenda, one reboot at a time.

    • -2

Honestly, would rather a woke-capitalist agenda than whatever the current administration is trying to push.

    • +5

Wouldn't touch Disney with Mickey's dick

  • If I signed up for the 4.99 deal, can I sign up for a further 3 months with this deal?

    • +1

You could cancel your subscription and your partner, a parent or one of your children could sign up for the $3.99 offer.

  • +5

Just get real debrid and eliminate the need for any of these streaming services?

    • -1

Can you pm me some details….?

  • +2

Still too expensive, I'll wait they go broke

  • +1

They got shogun right? Feels like I’m just paying to watch a couple of shows, back to the blockbuster days.

  • +1

Turkiye Disney+ Premium is now $14/month, might have to come home

    • +1

Yes. I'm hoping someone knows of a cheaper alternative now. Because I won't be paying $14 for this on top of the other subscription services we have.

  • +1

We picked up the $4.99 deal. We have 3 shows we’ve been wanting to see but beyond that, it seems a little barren for content we like. I think it will be a short relationship.

  • +1

I just tried to cancel my current subscription and I have been offered $11.99/month for 6 months, then $15.99/month.

  • I just tried to redeem it and it doesn't work.

  • New subscribers only was the error I got

  • Hijacking thread… Sorry!
I can't find anything recent on subscribing O/S (e.g. Türkiye).
Prices have gone from ₺34.99 (2022), to ₺64.99 ('23), ₺134.99 ('24), ₺164.90 ('25), and now jumped to ₺349.90 (approx AUD13.80) per month… what it was originally for the year!
Does anyone know of a current, more budget-friendly option for this?
I did notice that it says Disney+ Premium, is there a cheaper alternative?

  • +1

Not sure why this deal is not showing up on my Westfield app.

    • Same. I waited until the deal was supposed to start, today, and I don't see any Disney+ deals. Can anyone see it yet?

      • +1

        Shows up for me today.

        • Yup, me too. I had hoped it was just a timing thing. Thanks for the reply.

  • It's there for me & the code worked

  • +1

    Great deal redwiggle!

  • Got it, nice, thanks.

  • thanks OP, worked for me

  • anyone know the deal with 4k? the redemption page says its only Standard, but in the fine print it says "Up to 4k UHD", "4 concurrent streams" etc. I took a screen grab

After signing up I tried to see if I could upgrade to Premium which would come with the 4k guaranteed, but it wanted to charge $17 for the upgrade

I also tried streaming some videos but it wont show me the streaming quality, at least not from the web player in Chrome
