    Screwcap. Vegan.

    Nice to know.
Not a fan of the meaty ones.

    • Wait until you've tasted diced beef or lamb as a stopper

    • Which are meaty?

        shrewcap

        • They make caps out of shrews? How disgusting.

        • Is it called Kate?

Non-vegan ones are fined with egg….

And some with isinglass from fish

  • ahhh Wine Orbit. Reverse Marketing right there for me.

Haha. Not for everyone, I understand.
      Cheers RD :-)

  • "Under Wraps" McLaren Vale Shiraz 2020

Hmmm I wonder who produces this mystery wine????

    • +2

Of course it’s us, hence the quotation marks :-)

      • Fess up Richard, you're hoarding some "damaged stock" and offloading it as a little side earner when Bec's not looking.

Whilst you keep posting deals, we'll keep your secret.

  • Haha @M00Cow. If only I was at home to hoard anything! :-)
Bec has sent me off to far flung corners to shake hands with our distributors in some of our international markets who we’ve not seen for a few years! :-)

  • Feedback from a first-time customer (your last promo here):

✅ You and the sales team were incredibly responsive and easy to deal with
✅ The two orders were shipped within 24 hours
    ✅ Great communications and follow-up

Couriers Please? Nooooo! Please find a new delivery partner. I haven't tried any of 24 bottles because they are still in transit with ever-changing ETAs. Meanwhile, a case of reds from Margaret River - ordered about 30mins after the Wine Shed order - were delivered yesterday via AusPost.

      Hi @OzDJ
      Thanks for the kind comments.
      We use three courier companies.
The courier situation is one I’ve addressed a number of times before. It’s simply not as black and white as it appears to be. Service levels change constantly between service providers and we’re always adapting who carries what where and when.
Pick-up is also an issue from McLaren Vale across two carriers particularly.
All are pretty good from an overall perspective when set against the volumes we send. Frankly if they were that crap we wouldn’t use them and when they are crap we don’t.
If you have a preferred carrier please always feel free to request that service at the time of ordering.
Happy to discuss at the phone as it’s just not a topic I can do justice to here.
      Cheers! RD :-)

  • Wow, I thought Dan's had stopped the Under Wraps member's offers ages ago. I used to buy them quite regularly but haven't seen anything for probably a couple of years now. Got some great wines that way at very reasonable prices. Maybe I stopped buying and Dan's stopped sending me offers, or was it the other way around ?

    • They’re reducing the emphasis as from what I understand they believe it conflicts with their ‘lowest price guarantee’.
      RD :-)
