  • I just got ripped off lol

    • +1

      Cancel and then order again.

    • +3

You didnt get ripped off, ffs. You just got less discount

      • …he was making a joke. That's what lol means. Your anger isn't really needed.

  • Has anyone returned any items from online order, how is your experience? Does customer bear postal charges for return orders ?

  • Are shoes classified as apparel…?

  • +1

Gotta be careful of their shipping times, due to their warehouse move. Took three weeks to ship an order out last time, that too with partial shippments. Had to cancel after four weeks.

    • Yep. Still waiting on some stuff that I purchased on 28/9.

      • I have found CBA takes up to a couple weeks to pay rewards…..you are past couple weeks… hmmm

  • Under Armour in SA has had buy 6, get 60% off but plenty of items on sale.

    Prices aren't that good

Basically it's 30% off as marked, so 80 down to 56.

I thought it was an extra 30% off.

    • +2

If you go clearance section, its gr8

      • +1

I'm there, it doesn't seem that great

        • If u look at it properly, then youll see the discount

          • -3

            @Alpha-q: Nothing is 80% off

            Maybe 30% + 30%

That's okay, but like I said under armour outlet stores have 60% off and alot of stuff is 20-50% off already.

Nothing on here is majorly discounted, the 30% is already included in the price showing.

            • -7

              @[Deactivated]: Are u dumb,30+30+30%cb +50$off 200(25%). Wants everything for 1$, literally

              • +5

@Alpha-q: Where is the double 30% off?

I see tees for $21 down from $30 etc

All items in my cart only have 30% discount, their all from clearance men's.

I'm not getting an extra 30%

                  • @Alpha-q: Bare bone basic tees which are like $5 at Kmart

Who is paying the full price for that?

Title says extra 30% off, but alot of items in clearance are simply 30% off

                    • @[Deactivated]: Lol comparing new balance to kmart/target . Something is seriously wrong with u dude

                    • @[Deactivated]: Bro, why are you comparing New Balance to Kmart tees lol? Why do you even comment here if you good with $5 kmart tees?

                      • @nikoris: I simply said that they're base range looks like a came out t-shirt with a logo stamped on it.

Which was one of the most heavily discounted items for good reason.

                        • @[Deactivated]: They hold up much better.
I regularly buy kmart tees and i regularly buy brand tees and there's a substantial difference in how they've held up over time.
There are obvious exceptions to both sides. I've had kmart tees that were trash from the beginning and i've had brand tees that were similar to the good kmart tees.

I dont understand why we have so many 'but the off brand is the same but only cheaper' NO THEY ARENT

                  • +1

                    @Alpha-q: For reference,this item is 40 ,selling for 14. Now 3.5$(25%) and 4.2(30%). 6.3$ effective price. 6.3/40,84.25% discount

                    • +1

@Alpha-q: 1 item, I get there will be more.

But when alot of items are only discounted 30% in total, title is misleading.

Title says extra 30% off, but most items are only 30% off including the extra 30%>

                      It's a bit of a sham sale

                      • @[Deactivated]: For enlightening u one more time,it looks like it will be in vain but anyway. So lets say an item was 100$, has an initial discount of 30%. 70$,now 30% additional discount makes it 49. Now on this 49$,25%(cbank),36.75 . 30% on 49$ gives 14.7 cb,34.3 effective. Combining the previous 2 offers of commbank and cr,we get a total rrp of 22.05, which makes it 77.95% discount.

                        • @Alpha-q: But yes @Adelv,if u compare with kmart /target ,its a sham sale

                        • +2

                          @Alpha-q: You're not understanding mate.

I'm stating title sounds like you get an extra 30% off but it's already included

                          • @[Deactivated]: Mate if u see their description on the products that are covered with extra 30% off has already been reduced

                        • +1

@Alpha-q: The formatting of this comment is just painful.

              • @Alpha-q: Someone teach him maths please

                • @spy: Yea mate, tell me a place where i was wrong my friend

                • @spy: I will leave ozb community if im wrong lol coz then i dont deserve this community if i make rookie mistakes

        • +3

You get like sweatpants for $31, plus 30% cashback from cashrewards and $50 off $200 spent from commbank. They have tees for $14
Whats a 'great' deal for you? Evedrything for $1? lol some people

    • +7

It's a bit confusing compared to other sites/sellers. NB have worded it in a way which lures you to adding the item to the cart only to find out it's already 30% off and no further discounts apply - "Take a Further 30% Off. Prices as Marked…".

      • +3

Exactly what I've been trying to say!

Every item I selected in my cart only has a total of 30% off.

        • I agree with you - both the sale page and this deal title are a bit misleading. The 30% off is already included in the prices. Sure if you want to jump through hoops and are a commbank member then you can get an extra discount, but for those of us who don’t want to jump through hoops or are not commbank members, the prices are average.

  • Thanks OP. 30% cash back with Casherewards + $50 back from Comm bank. Solid deal!

  • +2

Don't like these tops with massive New Balance logos.
Free advertising, many brands doing it.

  • Can't seem to have 'extra 30% off' added to the cart. For example, I am hoping to get 30% off on $28, https://www.newbalance.com.au/pd/nb-athletics-fleece-short/M…

BUT it shows up 28 in cart. Am I missing anything ?

    • +5

I've been trying to explain this to someone above 🤣

      • +1

I am the same. One item in my cart seems to be cheaper than the already discounted price but the rest are the same advertised discounted price. I can't see a " Further 30 % off " not sure if there is a promo code 🤔

      • That someone above already understands. The guy making him understand doesnt read the things properly before commenting

    • +3

Yeah, they lied. It says take a further 30% off, but the 'further' 30% has already been applied, so prices as marked.

    • Yes you are missing where it says 'prices as marked'. E.g. that $28 is inclusive of the extra 30% off already.

So presumably before this extra 30% off sale started those shorts cost $40.

  • +1

I used the cash rewards 30% off (up to $50) and the combank $50 back (with $200 spend).

Got 1 men hoodie, 1 women hoodie and 2 kid hoodies. 2 men shorts, 1 men singlet and 1 men long sleeve tshirt.

Total cost including cash back was $103, roughly $13 a piece.

  • Sorry, I'm a novice here. How do I get the Combank discount? Do I simply have to purchase with a CBA credit card?

    • +1

You will need to activate the $50 cashback on the Commbank app before purchasing.

    • No, you need to download the commbank mobile app, then select the rewards button, and then activate the new balance deal if it appears.

      Hope that helps

      • Thanks for that. It want there for me. I've signed up for CashRewards. Will see how that goes!

  • +2

Jeez, OP, at least try to be intelligible.

  • It just be CommBank credit card, I'm with CommBank and don't see anything under rewards on the app.

But I'd ever have a CommBank CC, they never have good bonus points.

    • I just have a combank transaction account (not credit card) and it was available for me.

      • Weird, not available to me.

        • Also not available for me. Purchased through a different bank. OZb syndrome getting to me knowing I could have spoken to CBA about this and achieved a further discount before locking in my transaction.

  • +1

I just got 3 hoodies, 1 sweatpants, 1 tee and 1 pair of shoes for $120 after all cashbacks and discounts!! Super solid deal!

  • +1

Has anyone actually received the $50 CBA credit? Terms and conditions state not available on clearance store

  • after discovering the cost price of many clothing items it’s hard to for me get excited on paying $30+ for pair of shorts which once retailed for $80+ which actually costs about $2-5
