How to Find if Something Has Been Regularly Discounted at Coles or Woolies?

Does anyone know any way to find items that have been previously discounted at Coles/Woolies? So that we can expect them to be discounted in future. The aim is to wait and buy when the item is on a discount if it is usually a discounted item rather than buying it for full price now.

Eg: I need to buy Nescafe Gold/Moccona 400g and not sure it they put it on half price at Coles/Woolies so I can buy it when it is discounted in future instead of buying now.

  I usually use Camelx3 to watch the exact item on Amazon, as I find they price match Colesworths weekly specials.

  Then I buy it at whichever grocery store is doing the spend for 4 weeks deal at that time, if it’s neither then Amazon gets my business.
