Good price for this memory stick.

Not as good as the 3600 MHZ memory deal, however if you're fine with a bit slower speed its not a bad deal.

  • Is there much benefit to running 32gb vs 16gb?

    • +3

depends what you do with your computer. Start using productivity apps like photoshop, premiere you suck ram up quick
or even like leaving 100 tabs open in chrome while gaming might be close with 16GB these days.

      • Quite honestly, most of my time is spent using office 365 and in my downtime playing Destiny 2. Just wondering if there would be much benefit at all.

      • (Chrome tabs) And the rest … I have 64GB machines and Chrome (Brave) really eats the RAM up over time. Way beyond 16GB in my case.

    • +1

Generally its an all rounder effect, makes lots of things faster but not exactly in the sense of quickness. Browsing becomes easier as they eat a lot of ram, which gives u the ability to open many many more tabs. That goes true to other programs as well, the more ram u have the more programs u can have without being slowed down.

However the gaming standard is 16GB at least as games don't rely heavily on RAM, more so on VRAM.
Furthermore if its content creation with heavy programs like Adobe suite, editing, recording and so on, then usually the standard is 32GB

    • I played Tarkov a year ago, for some reason it had memory leaks and upgrading from 16gb to 32gb fixed that for me. But seems to work fine at 16gb on other peoples computers.

  • I mean if its the same price, 3600 is obviously much better assuming u can OC upto that

    • Is for specific processors? Also why stop at 3600? Genuinely curious

      • I believe so. CPU's have IMC (integrated memory controllers) which usually have a limit to the speed of ram processing
(Mhz). I dont really have any experience past 3600 but assuming u have a mid range cpu then it would most likely be hard to succeed getting that speed at below 1.5V.

  • any idea with single ram 32gb comparing to this 16gb x 2 ?

wanna upgrade mine 16gb ram only 2100mhz
