Leatherman CHARGE PLUS TTi Multi-Tool….
NEW (PLUS) MODEL WITH REPLACEABLE WIRE CUTTERS
25 year Warranty
CHARGE QUALITY WITH A TITANIUM TOUCH
When Leatherman made the Charge TTi, they knew the Charge AL and ALX were just too hard to beat, so they didn't even try. Instead they simply combined them. But had to give the TTi its own claim to fame, so in addition to all the other Charge features, they gave the TTi premium comfort-sculpted titanium handle scales and the S30V® stainless steel clip-point knife. Who says a multi-tool can't be sexy?

      Oooooo….

wait… that's not your usual post! Hey what gives… ;)

Useless? Seems like the norm for them

  • +1

    How much are these normally?

  • +2

Can vouch for this store. Ive bought from them before without issues.

  • +2

the one from Catch is not the same. The one from Catch is the older non "plus" variant without the interchangeable wire cutter blades

    • Yeah, I've edited the original to mention 'non-plus'.

Takes a keen eye to identify it. I wonder why the older version is still being sold on Catch.

      • +1

I think they have both versions on Catch. Some of their 3rd party marketplace sellers must still have stock.

  • +1

I'm tempted but I'm holding out for a price closer to $200 in one of the sales …

    • Do they ever get that low?

      • +1

I waited for a long time for the charge orange G10 and we finally had a deal for it here recently, so hopefully the TTi will as well.

        • Yeah, I missed out on the that one.
Never seen the TTI that low though.

        • Given you've been watching the leatherman charge+ prices for a while, what's the lowest you've seen the regular Charge+ go for?

          • +1

@pandamoniumV: The TTi hasn't dropped below 270ish since I've been watching. But the G10 sale proves it's still possible.

Also, to my surprise the Charge series kind of isn't worth it (I'm still getting the TTi to complete the collection), because my favourite is the Wave Plus stainless. I'll probably get a couple more Wave Pluses, one to keep in the car, one in the backpack etc.

            • @johnwinds: I'm looking for a regular charge, as apparently it's more comfortable in the hand than the wave plus. Basically the same tooling, just slightly better knife steel.

  • +1

i must have this even though i already have one. will swap out the titanium scales from this to my g10 charge+

    • Why? Besides the scales being different. It's just the plier head and the knife steel right?

      • g10 charge+ has s30v blade as well. the pliers on the tti have that crimper which i'm not a fan of.

        • Edit: nvm.

          • @zonra: i'd love to get my hands on that all-black g10+…..then put tti scales on that one lol

  • I'd say not worth it since the charge+ G10 was $199 just a couple months ago

  • have one for a year now. The file is the most useless tool ever, the diamond coating wear off almost immediately, and the other normal side can't even file my finger nail coz it is too smooth. And the crimper on the jaw is mostly being in the way.
Other than this 2 issue, this is the tool I'll bring with me or leave one in the car knowing I have access to a great all in one tool.

But I recommend g10 version over this anyway if you have to choose charger model.

Love the s30v blade and the guter hook, 2 of the best thing on the tool.

Recently bought a Victorinox spirit x smbx, feel like it is more coherent of an tool and the handle of the piler is dream to use
