If you're going to brag at least make it something worth bragging about it. Tbh that's disgusting. I mean if you're really that poor you don't have a choice I get that but the regular whopper doesn't even come with cheese. All you can taste is bread, meat and sauce.

Having 60 of those a month is one step up from torturing yourself. Admire your commitment to the cause but if you're going to rush death at least have something worthwhile lol

It is what it is, would rather die earlier than live past 60 where you’re just a brittle bag of bones.

My goal is to save up $60k for a house deposit before I’m 24 which is why I’m such a cheap cnt especially with the rising costs of inflation. I still live with my parents as well.
        Currently 22 on a 80k salary.

You can easily be active and healthy past 60 if you actually look after yourself.

What do your parents eat? Do they seriously exclude you from their meals? I don't know the full circumstance but if you're not paying for dinner, rent, bills etc it shouldn't be that hard to save 60k on a 80k salary in 2 years? Idk spending 50k per year/63%/$1000 per week living at home not buying dinner seems a bit high? Yes the "spending" includes tax but you can probably claim a lot of that back.

No offence if you've taken any, but I'm genuinely curious.

@pennypincher98: Not offended but it’s just a shtty situation overall.

My parents have over leveraged on multiple investment properties and haven’t disclosed this to the several bank lenders on variable rates ranging in between 4.5-5% with RBA planning to further increase basis points in the next few months.
My weekly income is $1250 (Payg withheld) so I’m dumping in almost 1k per week of my after tax income straight into my parents mortgage offset account as they are being pressured.
This only leaves me with less than $250 per week to cover my personal expenses.

As to why? I borrowed from my parents to purchase a new car outright last year. Yes it was probably one of the stupidest decisions I’ve made but that’s necessary for my job as sales is all about impressions.

So only option is to continue this lifestyle over a few months to clear my debt.

@Browndog69: Agreed, your situation is rather shitty but at least now one can see where it's all going/gone

  • Was able to grab one. Easy peasy. The app is a bit buggy though.
