Likely not the OP's venture, this is a new venture by Chef Ham - award winner Canberra pizza chef. Very keen to check it out as my office is in City West. The more options the merrier on this side of town as far as I'm concerned! I think he now owns Pizza Artigiana too after being the head pizza chef there. Must be his first store that he's designed and opened himself though.

Also never underestimate what people will do for free stuff.

It's a deal, isn't it? Do you comment on Krispy Kreme giving away single donuts when they're much more capable of giving away more for free?
People here also routinely lose their minds over deals for $2 profit that can’t be claimed for weeks. Hell we recently had a 100+ upvote deal for earning 10c cashback. A free slice of pizza is an odd place to draw the line 🤷♀️
Depends what constitutes a slice. Grease Monkey here also sells a slice of pizza, Detroit-style, that I quite like, and it's not a standard "slice" (ie, their main whole pizza is cut into 6 squares). Their slice isn't the same size as one "slice" it's about twice that.
Given Grease Monkey is a competitor, I imagine the slices will be a pretty decent oversized slice too (they'll need to be to get your moneys worth).
