I have the older model, been using it almost on a daily basis for the last 5 years and it's still going strong, paid $299 at the time.

It suits almost all of our needs. Since we bought it my family has stopped using the built-in oven (we don't bake cakes or anything like that).

Breville Smart Oven Pro Oven BOV850BSS4JAN1 $329

I got the amateur version and it's pretty good.

  • Price matching Harvey’s!. Reasonable price, but if your heading down this road, the Air Fryer version is a much better option.

super pro max elite … "Limited Double-Platinum Edition"

  • what's so special about this? Wouldnt an air frier be faster?

    • +1

Air fryer isn't so good for large flat things e.g pizza ….also the Breville has top and bottom elements also so lots of control ….. All these appliances compete with fan for ed oven but oven is large and long heat up times ….and to upgrade old oven is expensive this is cheaper … especially if in rental that has very old basic oven …

Air fryer circulates air above and below food ….in an oven people use tray so no air circulates underneath…..get mesh basket and your fan forced oven is now an air fryer ….it's air circulation below food that differentiates an air fryer …that's all.

    • You won't get the same air fryer results with this. Breville have a air fryer version, not sure how different the design is, maybe it just has a stronger fan
This is just a normal fan forced oven, the fan removes the insulating static air from around food so the food gets more heat and cooks faster, although in a way that's not even true, you just set the temperate 20 degrees higher in ovens without fans. I guess therefore fan forced ovens are more efficient , but not faster.

Air fryers are faster and more efficient
