There's also a store in Victoria (18-20 Palmer Crt Mt Waverley, 3149 VIC). Might need to mention that in your title.

  • Does the refund work with this promotion price? Seems Microsoft website says refund 30% off on the RRP!

      Full discussion here —> http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/70826

The % off is based on the RRP, retailers are free to charge what they want, so if they charge significantly less than the RRP, then items can be really cheap to almost free.

  • Shipping to ACT by Australia Post $14.00

  • Postage costs?

  • postage to NSW by AusPost $14.00 that's quite expensive for shipping IMO

  • People in WA might want to order from VTech Industrie $6.95 flat delivery (or $12.5 Aus Post Express for interstate): https://www.vtechindustries.com.au/microsoft-wireless-mobile…

  • Can anyone actually confirm success with cashbacks when buying from Umart? I know there's been discussion on it elsewhere before, but I've not seen a firm answer. Plus I've just called Microsoft to see if they could advise, but they couldn't tell me whether or not Umart is a 'participating retailer' or not… they just rattled off the same list that's in the T&Cs on the website.

    • but there is a selection to select "other" in the retailer dropdown list..what does "other" mean then..in the past I have down 4-5 cashbacks offer like logitech,Symantec etc and there were no issues with selecting "other" as a retailer options..but may be this would be mocrosoft specific..

      • I have had confirmation via e-mail from a Promtel representative (I'm assuming the company handling the promotion on behalf of Microsoft) which specifically states that Umart are an eligible retailer for the Hardware 30% Cashback promotion.

That's what we want to hear! I've now submitted my claim… let's see how we go on this deal.

        • That's pretty good..I will pick-up mine tomorrow..did you use the email address to send the claim or postal address?

        • The e-mail address. The kind rep at the other end said claims can be done through e-mail with scanned receipts… no need to snail-mail.

I have this mouse, and I wouldn't recommend it if you still want a good-looking mouse in a year. I bought it because it matched my HP notebook, and because of the BlueTrack technology, which works perfectly on many surfaces. Even on my head - not practical, but good to know.

Anyway, the silver started flaking off after 4 months on the right side where my pinky sits. Since then it's gotten worse, and has also started coming off along other spots on both sides. The rubbery bits on the sides have lost their grip, and feel strange now. The scroll wheel gets 'sticky' sometimes. It doesn't stop scrolling, but kind of catches on something to one side and I need to readjust my finger (doesn't sound like much, but doing several times on a page can get irritating).

I know it's just wear and tear, but the mouse looks like crap now, and I've only had it 13 months. Apart from the cosmetic let-downs, it still works very well, and is an awesome mouse - the side buttons are brilliant.

  • i got this one from umart at eight mile plains. on the invoice it says blue. i was about to buy two when i asked them about the cash back deal. the guy said they had received a call from MS earlier that day asking from some information and but wasn't sure if this qualified. he wasnt even aware of the cashback deal nor any of the products had stickers making me a little worried. they couldnt give me any more details. so i only ended up buying only 1 and shall try to call MS on monday to find out more info. he said no fee to return within 7 days but the invoice says 20% restocking fee. im no longer impressed be umart policies.

  • has anyone received the cashback from Microsoft yet?
