The Band in the description says JBL. If it is faked and JBL looks into this, the seller will be in trouble I guess.

Consider the JBL Go speakers as well. They're fantastic value.
Amazon have it at same price in Gray color. But it seems it is old model and suggests to go with new model. When did this Charge 5 refreshed?
Just bought one through Good Guys Commercial for $134. Excellent speaker. The bass this thing produces really shocked me. Would recommended.
Had mine since last year and it's not missed a beat …. literally 😅

I paid $159 (down from $199.95) a few months ago. This current deal is an ozbarrrrrrrrrgainnnnnnnnn.
I purchased another mini portable speaker for $30 the week prior to buying it, was kind of funny as I never saw the need to have a portable speaker, yet the opportunity to own one came up and I pounced. Then a week later I saw the JBL Charge 5, pounced on that as well lol.
The speaker has good volume and can get a room pumping with music. I tend to need to charge it once every 2 weeks or so (different patterns of use, 2-3 days a week).
I bought these for 169 so i kinda wish i waited a bit.
Having said that, quick review, really good speakers, really good quality for the price. The bass is really hard, the mids sound nice, i would say anything higher than 70 the audio quality might dip a bit and get a tiny bit grainy, but its already quite loud and booming on 50-70. It also charges your phone so it can act as a powerbank. Although you have to turn on the speaker to utilise it and it doesnt have fast charge. So really i use these speakers at work and just maintain a decent charge on my phone the entire time.
If you already own something like the wonderboom or even the megaboom, I found this to be more of an improvement, but you lose out on some of the portability. The wonderboom you could probably just fit in a small zip of a backpack, or even in a jacket pocket. The charge 5, im putting it in one of the main compartments. Its also on a bit of the heavier side, but idm that as much.
nobody missed out. they sound super bad… super bass ONLY
