It seems to be specifically designed for hotel

Hopefully it has the adult channel

    • Now I need to look for Hotel for sale.

  • Maybe good for Airbnb as it also support cable and satellite tv at the same time, no need for addtional settop.

Nothing wrong with a commercial display as a tv as long as you're ok with it not having a tuner to collect free to air stations.

Throw a Chromecast into it or input anything via HDMI etc.

    Having said that, $600 for a 49" 4K display isn't a deal imo.

    • It does say it has a DVB-T2 tuner, so should have FTA.

Agreed that it's not a deal. Looks like It's an older model though, and only 2 HDMI inputs.

I'm putting forward that not being able to get FTA is actually a blessing…

  • One of important stuff if you are planning to turn over one of room in your house to hotel style.

  • What is the display quality like? Does anyone know? I use a PC as a tv, so have no need for a tv tuner

  • The LG 75UT640S looks decent for $1499 too if you want a commercial panel - https://www.mwave.com.au/product/lg-75ut640s-75-4k-uhd-167-3…

    • commercial panel means longer lasting or what ?

      • No built-in tuner and speakers usually.

        • it clearly has speakers… how would guests use the TV otherwise…

what it does have it slew of superfluous network functions to hook up to an IPTV hotel streaming media server…

it also looks like it has a massive TWO hdmi ins… one back, one side

so you need a hdmi switcher or a surround receiver…

who is gonna buy this really???

its all there, its too complicated for anyone not in the industry
