      We have a footlong one, 300mm :)

  • Just curious, do countries in Europe still make tiles? Have seen expensive non-made-in-china tiles in shops. Not sure if they are actually made in Europe or just imported from Europe but made in China

    • Hi Vincent,
In short yes. We still import plenty of tiles from Italy, Spain, Portugal, etc. Usually quality and design are better.

  • Currently in the process of renovating our kitchen. Choosing tiles is a painful process. Like what is the difference between ivory, cream, antic green for example. And then there's the shape of the tile, colour combinations, tiling orientation. There's an infinite number of combinations.

    • It definitely can be overwhelming. Plenty of research helps. But it's also a great opportunity to be creative :)

      Hey Dream-cast

I just finished my so maybe a few points that may be helpful.

      1. Go with rectified tiles when possible. Pressed tiles will result in a thicker grout line as the tiles don't line up as nicely.

      2. depending on your tiler, they may charge you extra for small format tiles, so factor that into your budget.

      3. Since you are doing your kitchen, have you considered using the same material as your bench top for your walls? Will likely work out to be more expensive on a per m2 basis but might give you a cleaner look.

      Hope your remodelling goes well.

  • Hi op. Any ideas how long the sale will last or is it "while stocks last"? I'd like to order a few samples and would hate to miss the sale. Thanks.
