Can you imagine if cookies and cream were a vegetable

And I could just eat this all day and not get diabetes ☹️

    Life is really tough sometimes

    • Does this product have a health rating? Diabetes is serious and I would like to see more product information.

      • +11

Everything in moderation. But to get more than one tub of this stuff you need a prescription

      • Isn’t health rating a scam?

        • Lot of "Bio" labeled stuff is. They dip bananas into red wax and charge 40% more. To me it looks like inferior stuff price gouged.
Sometimes they throw it into the free fruits for kids basket. Kids play with it and then throw it onto the floor.
Some later ratings can be helpful. Some countries have introduced a GST on all foods. My observation is that it helps a bit with obesity.

  • Where do you find the upcoming catalogue? I can't ever see it till the day before 🤔

    Damn you OP.

My weakness for ice cream will come to a head this week.

      Enjoy ;)
I’ve to choose between B&J from Coles or Connoisseur from Woolies or buy both

    • I'd be more worried about it coming to my ass.

  • +2

Feels like there haven't been any new varieties in ages.

I see the sticks have 2 new flavours though, caramel pretzel and rocky road, these need to migrate their way to tubs, stat.

    • Recently when coles had this on sale, the store I went to didn't have all the varieties. I wanted to try the matcha.

      • +2

It's pretty disappointing compared to matcha icecream you buy by the scoop. I prefer to mix matcha powder into vanilla icecream.

        • Not as good as the proper ice cream stores, but I still buy the Connoisseur matcha white choc tub since it's 1L for that same price. Depends how much you wanna trade off flavour for value.

          • +1

@coalchris: But WW doesn't stock the matcha white choc 😭

C'mon Coles hurry up and run this connoisseur half price deal again!

            • @shkippy: Damn didn't realise this, I always thought they were just temporarily out or I was at a store which didn't stock that flavour. Just went on the WW website and search returns nothing. WW needs to bring this into the available flavours!

  • What's the best tub ice cream and stick ice cream?

    • +4

That’s not subjective at all. And so, the definitive answer is Haagen Dazs. Because — fewer ingredients. Stick it in your mouth, of course, but I’m not here to judge

    • +2

I like the Aldi ones that are like a magnum (or; chocolate coated) but mint flavoured.

      Haagen Dazs & Ben & Jerry's

  • NOT A DEAL!
This have been cheaper in the past back in 2016 for $5.

Is it possible to buy a strawberry icecream that tastes like the strawberry you get in the neapolitan boxes? I want that kinda fake strawberry flavour, the connoisseur one here is good (maybe a bit on the creamy side) but I don't really like the syrup they have in it

    • Sarah lee 1L strawberry, was on special at Coles Qld 2 weeks ago, but not in catalogue for $6

      .,

  • Can u do full catalogue plis

  • +1

I remember about 2 years ago, half price was $5. Darn inflation

  • Looking back on OZB archives I am actually extremely surprised that we called $4.50 Connoisseur a bargain even as far back as 2010, and that the RRP in 2012 was somehow already $9. Only in 2018 did it go up to $10.
