A well built stick vacuum with great battery life even on max setting. I would compare the performance of this to the Dyson V10/V11.

  Based on reviews, (which apparently reference text in the manual) it looks like this vacuum cleaner can scratch wooden floors. Not ideal.

        Miele has a very large factory in Dongguan in China making components for their vacuums. The motor most likely comes from Germany though.

  Have the Triflex HX1 Pro Infinity ( I think the main difference is the additional battery) and engineered hardwood timber floors throughout the house and I have not noticed any scratches from the use of this vacuum. The vacuum does a good job, reasonably quiet and battery life is good but the dust canister is a PITA to empty.

  I put it in my cart at $398. 2 hours later I saw the price went up to $509 on the actual listing but in my cart it still said $398 so I quickly checked out and got it at that price. Love Miele. Lasts so long
