I have a similar one, and I carry my lunch fruit in it (usually an apple), in a soft backpack. The fruit has never been squashed since I started doing this.
Found the sistema ones better as the lid can be clipped on. Half price for $3 at Woolies this week.
I prefer these too! The lid is slightly raised compared to these Decor ones which helps it from bubbling over in the microwave
Heads up: Absolutely useless for heating soup in my experience. Lid blows off every single time.
No matter how I try (lower wattage for longer), the steam vent on these is putrid. YMMV but you have been warned!

Lowering the power level on a microwave doesn't actually decrease the strength/wattage of the microwave, it just increases the interval between it sending out micro-waves
Why not just put the lid on loosely so the steam can escape out the side whilst still preventing soup splatter?

I have three of these, they've still been pretty reliable so far and I've had them for several years now. As long as you watch it closely in the microwave, place the lid to just gently cover instead of fully closing it, they hold up okay. The steam vent pops off for easy cleaning as well. It does the job as long as you're mindful when using them, if you don't have the time or patience though, look into the sistema ones, they seem more water/air tight, the decor one is definitely not.

Good soup
Had this for a few years and the Sistema for about a year. They're both great, although if I had to replace I'd go with Sistema. Don't feel the steam vent on the Decor is big enough for certain uses.
Don’t fret if you miss out between Amazon coles and woolies they are on half price about 10 weeks of the year. I love the whole range my cupboard is full of them
So if i buy soup mug i can be smug??
