I was dreading paying full price for the damn thing and I don't see Yonex discounted much, only racquets not made in China
If Vcore 100 standard was on sale I'd pull the trigger.
It will be on sale more now because the next generation is coming out around AO.
The Yonex rep said he'll be seeding Vcore demos around Dec for a ~Jan release.
You can try price matching at TennisOnly which has a free shipping over $150 policy.
I'm just offering a suggestion. The Vcore 100L is abit light at 280g, especially at competition level. It may suite your son in the short term but as he develops, he will need a heavier racquet.
The Vcore 95 is a really good stick, great feeling, but punishes bad technique. resell value of Yonex 95's are awesome, even several generation old Yonex 95's have really good resell value.
Has your son play tested Ezone's ?
He's quite young, 10 almost 11 so trying not to go to heavy for him too soon. He is currently hitting with a babolat pure drive super light at 255g. But thanks for the suggestion, might get him to have a try of the Ezone next time we are at the club, he loves trying racquets.

Decent price, I got one secondhand for only a bit less and I like it a lot. I watched from reviews and vids that 2021 versions of 95 and 98 are better than the 2022 versions, vice versa with 100.
better be damn worth it of a racket. it better make me better than rafter if it costs this much
