    Targeted?

    • Offer only valid for invited Amazon customers who have received this offer directly from Amazon through email or online display advertisements.

      Seems so.
“Sorry, you are not eligible for the below offer. See the Terms and Conditions below.”

      • I got the same, but initially assumed it was because I had used one of the Amazon lockers in the past

        • I assumed it was because my address would be too far from a pick up location

  • +2

thanks, saved $12 in total from previous gift card promo!

So we got approached for amazon lockers at a site we had. Asked for details and their business model is this:

Us: “How much is amazon paying us to rent?”

Amazon: “oh no we don’t pay rent. We don’t pay you anything. We guarantee foot traffic for payment”

    🤔😒

    • +4

That's why they are so successful

    • +15

Entirely on brand for Amazon. Technically they're not wrong, you'll definitely get increased foot traffic. You'll just get increased foot traffic to the lockers not necessarily the store lol.

      • +8

The amazon lockers have now been placed at the end of an Ikeaeqsue snaking maze

    • +1

Sounds like an alright deal if they have say 300 pick ups a week. That's alot of foot traffic for your store

      • +6

Not really. Not sure about you but when I need to pick something up even from the post office I have the blinkers on and just want my sh*t and to leave.

The contract was worse for it. Wanting us to pay for the install if we broke contract with a year from memory

        • +3

Not sure why people are negging you, you're in the right.

And my customers definitely come in with blinkers on where I work, so I have no doubt you're right there. This is like when companies contact freelance artists and say "oh we'll pay you in exposure."

          Pay money, you cheap buggers.

          • +2

@Selenium: Lol guessing the neggers like to window shop??

Exactly. Pay for what you want

    • +2

At least throw in a free prime sub. And a t shirt

    • Amazon: “oh no we don’t pay rent. We don’t pay you anything. We guarantee foot traffic for payment”

      Surely they jest.

My closest Amazon locker is at a National Storage. I don't think the extra foot traffic works for this type of business, wouldn't translate to any extra storage rentals, maybe they make something with a soft drink vending machine next to the locker.

  • thanks worked for me for a sub and save order

    • What did you buy?

      • tide pods

  • Thanks

  • I got you are eligible for the offer, and sorry there is no pickup location near you. But there is one 2.8km away.

    • Just find an address nearest to the pickup location…

  • +1

Nice, there's a place near where I work.

    Praise to our amazon overlords.

  • Great deal. Thanks OP.

  • Thanks, just placed an order.

  • +1

Worked for me and I’ve never received an email about it. (Plus I’ve never used the Pickup service) Thanks OP!

    • Me too.

  • Nuts I used an Amazon pick up point for the first time last week :(

    • +4

Thanks for being an early adopter… enjoy your nuts

  • It works for me, thanks. I remember that I've used it before though.

  • Thank you!

  • Thanks Op. Got targeted and had a pick up point nearby

  • For those who are not aware, Amazon can ship most of their smaller products to an AusPost Parcel Locker, so that's another option if there isn't an Amazon pickup point near you (you won't get the $7 savings from this deal though).

Exceptions are heavy or large items, and certain electronics such as some SSDs (no idea why), or anything involving batteries — for those, parcel lockers or PO boxes are not available as a shipping destination. Also, anything that's coming via Amazon UK (but sold on Amazon AU) is not eligible for AusPost delivery either.

  • i find amazon doesnt need any kinda of signature regardless of the value of the item. they left my 1500$ lens at the front for the whole day o.0

    • +1

they have too much money to care, can simply send another replacement

    • +4

I love how they leave the box flush against the front screen door, so you need to go around through the back gate to pick up the box as you are unable to open the front door,

    • as long as it reached your front door and they took a photo of it, it's your responsibility from that point on. heck they even try to get you to find packages if they've been left at the wrong door.

    • +2

Except when they contract out to Couriers Please and they leave a slip for you to collect a $5 item from 3 shopping centres away.

  • Is there a way to search for eligible items? Or even see in the results if it's eligible?

  • I did this and then clicked subscribe and save for extra 10% off, order went through and says awaiting shipping but they also emailed saying not eligible for this delivery address so I think I’ve broke their system !!

    • Did they still end up delivering the S&S item? Just had the same thing happen after ordering an S&S item.

  • Considering I already have to drive to the Aramex depot and pick up some of my parcels, it's not a bad deal.

  • Thanks, ordered. Pickup is very convenient too. Didn't get any email, but the code was accepted, no problems.

    • where do you get your code? via sms or attached in your order?

  • I'm new to Amazon is there a way to filter to show what is shipped and sold by Amazon?

  • It looks like I'm eligible for this offer after clicking through, but I can't get the code to work for any items (sold by Amazon AU)

    • +1

I had the same problem, i found it worked once I changed the deliver to the locker location then readded the code

      • +1

        That worked, thank you

  • +1

Have just had a terrible experience with the lockers. Tracking said delivery attempted but driver couldn't gain access (to Amazon's own lockers… ) live chat was useless and spoke to two different people on the phone before a shipping specialist just said they will reattempt delivery tomorrow… not worth the $7 for the stuff around

  • Is this still valid? Can't seem to get it working

  • +1

    expired,1500 claims already lol

  • Just applied to an order and it worked. From $31.99 came down to $24.99.

  • Still working!

  • Still works but man i had to go through so much different products from Amazon AU just to find one the code would accept.

Probably why the code still hasn't been used up, its such a holy hell hassle to find a product it actually works on that you actually want.

    • Are you sure the products you tried are from Amazon AU?

    • Were the items your tried already discounted? I don't think the code is supposed to work for discounted items. I could get it to work for some but not others (like books).

      • I ended up getting a multitool that was already discounted from $39 to $32, with the $7 pick-up off eventually down to $27.

So I think the only requirement is Amazon AU store and shipped from the same.

Which is still puzzling because I still had to go through multiple double:

        Ships from
        Amazon AU
        Sold by
        Amazon AU

That just refused to work, and half of them wouldn't deliver to a parcel point either.

Just a lot of hidden loops to jump through for $7

I used this code, and after more than 1 week the item is still not shipped (and item was in stock for next day delivery).
Now customer support gives 2 options: cancel order or wait.
Today with black friday, again same price and next day delivery but support can't help me, asking to wait 48 hours ..

  • +2

Is the code still valid? I am getting invalid code.
