  • Nice, thanks.

  • Looks good.
What's a good similar free android version?

    • +5

      Solid Explorer

      • +1 for solid explorer, and it does a more, it can be a ftp server too

      • Solid Explorer

A great and one of the the best (PAID) utility app.

    • FX file explorer worth paying a couple of bucks for. I have access to local file system, network shares, remote server and cloud stores all in one app.

  • I wish there was an iOS version of Cyberduck, I like seeing the logo.

      • That's the one.

        • Looks like a duck, sounds like a duck, until you open it.

iOS Shortcut with the Cyberduck image as the icon, it just opens FTP Manager though.

  • It's been a long time since I needed an ftp client…. but that won't stop me from adding this to my library.

  • -5

ES file explorer in Android ecosystem does the same job and much more.

  • Is the iOs remote still free?

  • Thanks OP

  • Awesome. Now I can stop using Signal to transfer files from my phone to/from PC. It supports sftp Thanks op.

  • +3

Perfect for keeping my PHP site on Geocities up to date

    • +3

      Is it still under construction?

  • +1

this looks exactly like FE File Explorer - oh look same developer haha

    • They rebranded as Owlfiles… and looks better to use except missing text editor.

  • What’s the best iOS file explorer (paid or free) that does SMB? I miss Solid Explorer on Android.

    • Check out Readdle Documents. I use that when I need SMB on ipad - I'm not 100% on the UI but haven't gone looking to replace it

    • +2

FYI you can access samba shares straight from the built in Files app.

      • +1

This. Don’t use apps for built in features.

      • Looks like it works but doesn’t show thumbnails for pics and videos files…

  • Paid for this app 6 years ago, still using it today when on the road!

    • What do you use it for may I ask?

  • +2

All your files are belong to us

  • Was just after this. Thanks for sharing op!

  • I prefer webSSH for SFTP (and SSH) if people like alternatives

Free version lets you add as many connections as you want but only lets you use one at a time. Paid version ($10) lets you use more than one at a time and removes the nag each time you add one

  • Any app to send files from andriod to iphone?

    • I use Send Anywhere. I send anything between any phones or tablets.

    • I use bitwarden as password management and file transfer

  • I accidentally upvoted this while scrolling and now have to work out if this will be of any use to me (second time this month).
