  • Just got one, $41.53 USD on my 28 degrees should be $21.24 AUD +- $1.

    • How come you get $20 difference using 28 degrees?

      • +1

        sorry, typo, 41.24 oops

how good would it be if the AUD was THAT strong :P

        $1 AUD = $1.955 USD lol

        • +5

I thought you had the Diamond coated platinum 1/2 price on everything 28 degrees mastercard.

  • I got mine in the last deal. They sound good, but I'm no audiophile. What I really liked was how comfortable they are. So cushy on the ears :)

  • +1

    Nice catch.

  • Ordered mine. :)

  • Bought these during the last deal for around the same price.. Love the sound quality for the price..

    Shane they're not commute friendly..

    • +5

Damn, just spent 30 seconds looking for "Shane's" comment only to realise you meant "Shame" :P

      • haha

        sorry.. my mistake!

compliments from my samsung's intuitive spelling..

You deserve a thumbs up, after the service on display the other day for the same category (headphones).
    /see: sony mdr-zx700.

But you're in contrast; I've noted the prudent ex-clusion of '(RRP $xxx)' on your communicated headline, and helpful inclusion of proper review group (head-fi org as perhaps the closest thing we have to a measurement body). Makes sense. Even a +favorable check-in to e bay pricing. Very good.

I've enjoyed the tidy wrap-up on this deal, and many thanks sir/madam. I'd also consider this a sensible template for any compliant oz/b discounts I might post as well.

    • I;m not sure if you were asking about including RRP or saying its good that I didnt have it? I looked in to it anyway if thats what you are asking about.

The American Panasonic website they have a at the moment for USD$47.99, and the MSRP/RRP there is $59.99

On the UK Panasonic website they are £71.99

Though "street price" on head-fi is said to be $30, if you live in USA.

They aren't on the Australian Panasonic website and aren't imported/sold locally by Panasonic (as far as I am aware).

      • Definitely good to not have it - RRP/MSRP. 'The Wholesale cost', if anything, for Oz/b here. RRP is effective device for implying a discount, but the kind of information I'd get from the manufacturer or retailers' site.

  • These look quite similar to ATH-M50's.
Does anyone own both and are willing to offer a personal comparison?

    • +1

Both are in the comparison in the first link, I purchased a pair of these based on the best in my price range (also because I blew the left driver on my Koss Porta Pros yesterday, it was the first time I used them)

The ATH-M50's I would have to say would be better from reviews I have read but they are 3 times the price delivered so for anyone willing to spend the extra on headphones they would probably be better for them to buy. I would have bought the ATH-M50's instead if they were this price for sure, but not for $120-150.

  • Great, just ordered a pair. Been in the market for a pair of headphones with a bit more bass than my old weary AT SQ5's.

  • Just bought one…Thanks op… I Hope these are better value than the $30 Beats I bought from the market :)

Why is Amazon so selective with what they will and won't send to Au? Is there a way of searching for items before getting to checkout and getting the bad news?

    • -1

Theres nothing wrong with these. I ordered it and it doesn't have any restrictions!

      • -2

I'm not interested in these headphones….I have HD25S

    • +3
      1. Product Details - Shipping - It should let you know whether each product is available for international shipping.
      2. When searching, on the left hand side, pick "Amazon Global Eligible"
      3. The above should give you a pretty good indication of what ships here or not, but a checkout attempt is only way of making sure. Because each manufacturer/supplier might have placed different distribution restrictions on Amazon on a country by country basis.
      • Thanks for this, will make shopping easier, always want the ssd's but get rejected at checkout.
Not sure why my question was negged?

        • Because your question is not related with the deal posted but rather should be in the forums. By the way I didn't neg you.

  • Your Amazon.com order of "Panasonic RP-HTF600-S Ster…" has shipped!

That was fast, the only other time I ordered something from Amazon it took weeks before it was sent.

  • Just arrived. Was shipped on the 26th. So 8 days not bad.

    • Mine arrived yesterday. :)

  • Mine are at the post office, Ill pick them up on Friday.

Also they are only $40.86 delivered now, with only 17 pairs left.

  • Just put in an order for 2 - needing them here by the 8th August - fingers crossed!

  • Price has dropped but won't ship to AUS anymore :(

    • Thanks for the info, marked as expired.
