[Used] Dell GeForce RTX 3070 Graphics Card $465 / 3060Ti $365 Express Delivered @ ITFountain

2212

Hi all,

I have a few GPU's I am selling, these are used GPU's that have been mined on but kept in an air-conditioned environment and well looked after. These are about 12 months old.

They have been clocked to ensure they remain cool and well looked after.

I am selling on my Shopify site at the reduced cost, but I still have it up on eBay.

I have 100% positive feedback on https://www.ebay.com.au/str/beyond2000

If you want to purchase from eBay then make sure you use the coupon code C2CNOV to get 7% off.

I have purchased antistatic bags, custom box and antistatic bubble wrap to ensure they arrive safe and sound to you. These will be express posted.

    no thank you

    • Sorry. not sure why you neg voted. I purchased these GPU's and have looked after them myself. These are not from anywhere else.

Hello, I'm a Nigerian prince and I have a business proposal for you..

        • +1

          tell me more ol' chap

        • His ebay name (johnpaul8000) is very similar to if not the same as the Nigerian who was trying to sell me diamonds last week.

          • +7

@stemcell: I am writing to you today, as the berer of bad news, that sadly Mr John Paul 8000 passed away three days ago from sudden heart failure. As the executer of his will I can inform you that Mr John left you the entirety of his diamond estate worth $800.000.000.000.000 (AIGHT HUNDRED HUNDRED HUNDRED HUNDRED HUNDRED DOLLAR) AMERICEN DOLLAR to you!
Now due to the complex legal process involved in transferring such a large fund I must ask you to first provide some identity documents and wire a small sum ($5.000) to the National Security Trust Bank to verify the routing number!
Once this has been provided I will wire you the full some in 7 (ELEVEN) business day.

            Yours faith,
            Dr John Paul 8001 Escquire

Are you a girl only used these cards to play some light games casually?

        • +1

Funny how often you hear that exact same line.

        • +1

No Sorry, these have been used for mining purposes. They have been looked after though as I said kept in an air-conditioned room which reduces any dust and keeps temps stable.

3 months warranty for a dell OEM (certainly not the best at cooling) card that's been mined on for 12 months, I payed not much more for a preowned 3060 ti that still had more than a year of warranty more than two months ago

    • The computers I find have poor cooling but the cards on their own in a better computer keep temps low, I have found in some situations Dell's GPUs have had better performance than some of the bigger GPU's with massive heat sinks.

      • Dell GPUs actually received a positive review through Gamers Nexus

  • -6

good deal, id pull the trigger if I was in the market

  • +10

These are bad prices compared to what used cards sell for on Ebay. You're trying to sell Dell cards for more than what triple fan AIB cards with original invoices and packaging go for?

    • -5

Please explain? Tell me where you can find a 3070 RTX GPU for this price?

      • +8

Check recent sold listings. Here's one example.

Feebay also gives you 3% off with gift cards and often stackable 5%+ off coupons.

        • -4

Thank you, yes I checked the used listing, that example was from a person with very low feedback - but I would say that is a bargin at that price.

Appreciate you looking anyways, have a nice day!

          • @stealthmatt: You're welcome. Also, for some more bargains, check out the 3060 Ti sales. Lots around $400, and a few below it.

            • +4

@iseeyou1312: Thank you, I have adjusted the prices - as your right not as competitive as I had hoped.

              • @stealthmatt: No worries, I revoked my neg on this post, would also give you a +1 now but it seems I can't. Definitely a much sweeter price point than before.

          • +1

@stealthmatt: I'd class your feedback as low too.

  • +12

no warranty, no receipt, no furmark testing, not even that good of a price

    • +2

Thank you for your help, I have adjusted the price further. I will also provide a 6 months warranty (up from my original 3 month).

  • +1

    Nah I'm good fam.

  • +1

If I had a budget of $500, what would downvoters suggest I go for instead?

Needs to be Nvidia for 3d rendering.

    • i''d say 90% of ozbargainers would just say HODL
even if you need something now

      • +3

Haha I've seen that a lot on previous deals from 6 months ago, despite still being one of the all time lows for the cards (from what I can see) and nothing popping up in the meantime. The HODL is definitely seeming like more of a meme than actual genuine advice.

I do have some patience, eg. willing to wait for black friday, or even months, but not if I'm only gonna end up saving $20.

Have no idea where GPU prices should be tbh, the market has been very confusing over the past few years.

        • No, ozbargain says you need to hodl forever

        • HODL made a lot of sense when these cards would be going for $1.5k, for the last 3-4 months it's mostly been a meme, although some would realistically expect them to drop more. Suppliers/producers are managing the oversupply well post-crash to maintain their brand's price tiers.

    • +2

this is a good deal, it just dropped to $465

    • +2

This is a ok price, with the weaker AUD and price gauging from Nvidia, you probably wont see a good price until next year when the new medium to low end card released. Maybe check ebay if you want something with warranty. Just image how low can a 3070 card goes, $300? Not until ps5 dropped to $600.

Cheapest RTX 3060 I could find that was not LHR

      $510 + Shipping

      • +1

LHR is irrelevant. Nvidia unlocked the hashrate with a recent driver if you wanted to mine on them

  • +12

Everyone seems salty but I think you've presented yourself well, the cards have been mined on but at least in a good environment and given you've dropped prices once pointed out they weren't as sharp you thought I think these prices aren't too bad!

The biggest negative I can think is that they're Dell rather than AIB.

    Thanks for posting :)

    • So the seller says, you are very trusting.

    • +4

I don't know about others, but the reasons I'm being salty:

      1. Having run a couple of mining rigs myself, I can tell you these don't need to be air conditioned - it just needs to be in a well ventilated room - and if they did, you're either running this at someone elses expense or it was rarely ever turned on, because the cost of running aircon outweighs the profit. No offense to the OP, but yeah sure they might have been in an air-conditioned room, but it probably wasn't turned on as often as you think. So for this reason alone, I'm already suspicious of the deal.

      2. YMMV but I can see local Marketplace listings that were similarly priced before OP did the price adjustment with 1.5-2 years of warranty still left on the card (I asked those people if they could provide the original receipt which they could). So if the card ever failed, you have a reliable source to return the card to.

      3. You can't furmark test the cards to see how they perform under stress so you're trusting the OP that these cards won't black screen under load.

If after considering all that, you're stil comfortable to purchase it, then fair enough. Just thought I'd give my 2 cents.

      • These have all been tested working. In the unlikely event that the card doesn't work, all someone needs to do is reach out, and send it back. On return if the card is faulty I will provide a full refund and any shipping costs or they have the option I can send another card. I am holding several spare cards just to ensure everyone is happy with their GPU.

        • +1

Works for 1 months then it died. Take your businesses elsewhere miners.

        • Honest question: was the memory OCed on any of your cards?

          • @ssfps: Almost 99% sure they did, as overclocking memory will result in a higher hashrate and in turn that increases profit, now think about it, would anyone in their right mind throw away a chance to make better profits if they had the option?

And we are talking about miners here, not to sound condescending but they are very greedy for profits and their actions have messed up with what used to be a normal market for gpus, gpus made for gaming and productivity only/mainly.

  • +1

Grabbed a 3070. Decent price Op.

    • Let us know when it arrives, and condition of the card

      • +1

All orders have been shipped and most should have received theirs by now…. if anyone hasn't please get in touch or reply here.

        • Got mine, thanks Op

  • +3

Good price, although it seems really risky to purchase off a random self-made site. At least eBay has buyer protection

    • +1

But you have to pay more that way.

      • +1

Scams usually work this way. If the price is too good to be true, it usually is.

  • -2

How come ebay price is different to your knocked up webpage?, anyone buying through that has more cash than sense. Neg vote, Issue with retailer.

    • +2

      Probably due to eBay fees

    • +2

As noted in About Me section on site

"Hi all, I made this little Shopify site to be able to sell my used GPU's directly. Rather than the hassle of going through eBay and being charged their massive fees.
By buying direct I can give you the best discount possible."

      • -4

And I promise on my 5th daughters life to ship it out to you.

        • That's on his conscience, I was merely providing you with the facts on why it's cheaper there.

        • +1

Thank you, I have been very transparent. Also as the Shopify site is setup for Credit card payment in the unlikley event something did happen the recourse would be do to a charge back. However, I am just trying to sell my cards with out all the extra fees that eBay pile on. My ABN is also listed on my website.

      • -3

The “hassle” of using an established site with an easy listing builder and buyer protections.

Sure sounds like a hassle. /s

      • Then if you're saving on the ebay fees why isnt your cards as cheap as the AIB cards listed on ebay?

    • I think you knew very well why but felt the need to negorize it

  • +8

Just me or is this paying the people who helped drive GPU prices to astronomical levels?

    • I think he might be taking a loss on these. Can't blame people for trying to make money in current year through mining. If you want to blame anyone, blame the retailers or nvidia.

      • My understanding is that it was the distributors who got greedy…. The repercussions that we are still feeling with overpriced GPU's ($3K for a top tier model vs $1300 which was top of the range in the 10 series back in the day)….

      • +2

thoughts and prayers to all miners who lost money.

        • +1

One of my mates spent almost $4k on a Strix 3090 as he was building a completely new system and couldn't wait any longer (was using a laptop at the time). Another one spent $2k on a 3070Ti…. Thoughts to them for overpaying (and neither are miners, but gamers).

      • Thanks Dave, yes I am taking a loss - I purchased these from Dell retail for way more than what I am selling for. Unfortunately the longer I hold this stock the faster it will depreciate so I am cutting my loss and moving on, it has been an interesting few years to say the least.

        • +1

How much did you make mining?

  • +4

I might go down to Springvale market this weekend, see what's available ;)

    https://www.tomshardware.com/news/gpu-oversupply-spills-onto…

    • lmao. love that pic, picking up a gpu for possibly a fraction of the price, on the street, as if u were buying some dinner.

  • “ These have been mined on but kept underclocked and cool”

    Underclocked, yeah sure lol.

    • +1

The GPU die was likely underclocked and undervolted, but the memory would be heavily overclocked.

  • +5

Thank you all that have placed an order, I will ship these out express post tomorrow. I appreciate your business.

    • -5

Nice try, no one placed an order, stop misleading people.

      • +3

Pretty sure some people would have

      • I would almost certainly have bought the 3060 ti for that price if I didn't recently buy a new card. It's in cheap enough territory that I feel I can take the risk on it not lasting (which it likely will).

  • +5

Welcome to Oz2ndhandMarketplace.. from the same scumbags who drove the price up in the first place..

  • +6

I hate your GPU miners kind, your GPU can sit there and rot.

  • I'd rather just buy it on ebay and get some kind of buyer protection instead of none

  • -1

Mining is environmentally destructive and I want to see them stuck with inventory.

    • +6

Why can't it be purchased by someone that wants one ? Three Rs reduce, reuse and recycle.

  • +5

    The salt is real here.

    • The problem is that these GPUs have been previously used for mining

      • Why is that a problem? I would take an undervolted, air-conditioned, mined GPU over one that has been gamed on any day of the week.

  • +4

Hi all, I am shutting this down.

Thanks for the few that purchased GPUs. They will be posted tomorrow express.

    • +2

I have re-enabled the site - eBay is also having a 7% discount.

I would rather buyers use my site so I can minimise the eBay fees - but please feel free to make a purchase either or.

Thank you all who have shown interest.

  • +1

Just noting the site no longer shows any gpu's, and has a lot of "placeholder" info.

  • +1

The only 'deal' here is the 'deal' OP got for free advertising to sell his scalped GPUs.

  • +4

You've done alright with this one after adjusting prices.
I'm going to make a bold accusation & say that most OzBargainers are uneducated with undervolting & mining configurations & are just mad because miners have already been labeled the enemies of gamers & builders since the beginning of the 30 series.

It's making me think of the meme/Simpson episode?? - "Old man yells at cloud"
I would take a ex mining card any day (if correct clocks were used) over some GPU a sweaty teen owned whos done god knows what to try and get 3 more FPS on COD.

    • +1

Yes my cards have been well looked after - what some people don't realise is that down time cost miners money and we dont want unstable mining.

I also had temp settings to stop mining at 65c and my temp was set to mine at 50-55c with 60% fan in 25-26c aircon.

I would have seen in the first month if there was any issues and I only ever found 3 dodgy cards, 2 had fan issues which I replaced and the other 1 had bad memory (was showing screen corruption and disappearing from bios).

All my cards have now worked fine for the last 12 month and I believe will continue to work fine for many years to come.

  • +2

First time bothering to make an account here so that I can provide feedback. I bought a 3060 ti here and it was package well (static bag, bubble wrap & cardboard box). The card was in mint condition. I have ran Heaven Unigine with a slight memory overclock to test if the card is faulty or have minimal life left. The card past the test without going past 70c in a 22c room.

    • Thank you for your purchase, please don't hesitate to get in touch if anything changes. I hope you enjoy your GPU for many years to come :)

  • Hey OP, any chance of a discount on the 3070s with corrosion? Or more detailed pictures of the defect?

    • +1

Hi, I have sold out of everything, except for the cards listed on my ebay.

  • Thought I'd write in here, bought two and have only just got them up and running a few days ago. My experience was similar to @popmenow!

One had obvious corrosion as mentioned by seller, and one didn't have any visually obvious at all.
I'm not a very experienced user, but as far as I can tell, I'm not facing any issues on either card at this stage - I've run Heaven like the commenter above (although don't know how to do a memory overclock) and saw similar results, slightly higher temps in a small form factor build (which this Dell card was perfect for).

Very happy with my purchase and ultimately glad I didn't listen to the people who were negging the deal on pretty much on premise alone. Thanks to stealthmatt for being upfront and honest about the card's use, and based on my interactions I feel confident that if I have any issues in the future they'll work with me on it. As it stands, I'd trust a future deal/sale by stealthmatt.

If someone in the future finds this comment after post comments have been closed, feel free to PM me if you have any questions about my up to date experience with the cards/seller, but hopefully from here on it's happy days!

    Thanks again mate!
