These are HUGE! I've actually seen people selling them unopened / unassembled on gumtree, probably because they bought them without really thinking if it would fit in their garden.

    It's $20 off the regular price…

Not sure if this is a bargain because the $229 price included delivery, this price doesn't include it…

  • I can't just buy it have to laybuy ($3 fee) and local pickup at store of this 100kg box LOL.
    No add to basket

I have a trailer & sack truck so thats cool

    Great deal
Last one I bought the kids wore out after 9 years and it was a 17'x10'rectangular from hills for $600
Took me 3 days to dig the hole to recess it into the ground as there were no nets in those days.

For $200 this is an absolute steal as long as the quality is ok.
Does anything last 9 years these days?

Snapped one up as hopefully will have grandkids before it shreds

    • To answer your question, no.
I bought what appears to be the same model as this for the kids xmas in 2009. The side netting lasted just over 1 year before the sun ruined it to the point you could rip it like tissue paper by just applying light finger pressure to it.
What annoyed me more was the fact Kmart weren't interested in helping me find a replacement as it was just "out of warranty, so there's nothing we can do".
This year the outer spring protective matting has sh!t itself in a similar manner, so the wife has now given the order to dismantle it and take it to the dump.

      • I bough one of these about the same time, our netting went like yours and we got it replace for about $50. Have a look on the Trampoline for the distributer.

        • Thanks Fred,

Yeah already tried contacting both Kmart and the manufacturer (Jumpking), however neither were of any help.
Kmart told us to talk to Jumking as it was nowt to do with them & the Jumpking contact details I was given were of no use - the phone number went to voicemail everytime a & they didn't respond to any emails.

    • I bought this last xmas. It's ok for the money but it's not very bouncy for big kids like me!. Looks like iv only got a year or so left before the netting craps out lol.

The kids love it though and I'm glad I got the big one. Too many injuries on the smaller tramps when the kids slam into each other more often.

  • Don't think you can actually purchase this right now…. seems to be a Christmas layby only item, and it says:

" You can choose a day to pick up your layby in your nominated store between November 1 and December 24, 2012. "

Did it anyway. The kids had a little bonfire on the last one, before the dog chewed the rest of it up…

    • Wait wut? … Your kids had a bonfire on the trampoline?

      • +3

Yes…. we had a 15 foot trampoline, and one summer say had some friends over for a bbq. Next thing we know is 4 sheepish kids came over and said there was a hole in the trampoline. They had piled up some paper napkins and set fire to them with matches pinched form the bbq.

The dog chewed the entire safety net and spring padding….

I jumped on this deal as fast as I possibly could.

If you dont want to pay for shipping the trampoline is in the toy sale catalogue which starts Thursday for $209 (I think $209 is the regular price so you can even go in tomorrow and buy it). The box is pretty long and heavy, around 80kg. You'll definitely need a ute or trailer to take it home in. For those concerned about transporting it home, you can always buy it and come back days later after you've convinced your friend with the ute to help you out. Technically speaking, once you've bought it we can hold it forever for you to come pick it up.

  • Looks like the one I have. I got it home in the station wagon, seats folded down.

The foam pads on the poles will not last a summer (UV disintergration), and they retain water that rusts the galvanised poles, so best to not use them. The net will protect the kiddies.

The steel ring at the top of the net is good - keeps it tight so safer and looks better.

  • Be aware - the trampoline MAT is UV treated - the netting isn't.

Is a bargain if you don't care about the netting or you only want it to last a year or two.

It's still cheaper to buy one of these every two years than by one Springfree of the same size (or a decent good quality one)

  • Just picked one up at Kmart Kurralta Park SA. Fitted easily into my small station wagon. 78.2 kg.
