  • Is rdna3 boards going to be exclusive ddr5?

RDNA3, you mean GPUs? Since when do graphics cards have the ability to enforce system RAM type?

      • I mean the 6600g or what ever the new cpu with graphics…

        • Yes AM5 socket will not take DDR4.

        • You are really mixing things up.

Ryzen 7000 desktop CPUs have RNDA2 based graphics embedded. 6000g series CPUs are likely mobile CPUs, which I am not certain it will work with desktop motherboards.

AMD is no white knight, it is most likely not going to put RNDA3 in a CPU / desktop APU for quite some time.

          Is rdna3 boards

That's what's so confusing, you mentioned "boards".

    • RDNA3 cards will work in any full length PCI slot. Virtually every DD4 or DD5 board has one. It might suffer performance penalties if the motherboard is splitting a PCI 3.0 lane with something (i.e. sharing it with M.2), but even then, its totally compatible.

Yes those were the days.. and the old store in Rochedale south had the mega lines

  • Last in the country? Doesn't Amazon have these on special all the time?

  • Had a MSI B450 Gaming Plus motherboard die on me recently. First time in a long time I decided to try something besides Asus. After this have gone back to Asus.

Thanks for that. I've been trying to work out which B450 to get for a few days now and that real person feedback was the tipping point.

      • Yeah my computer wouldn't boot, screen not coming on at all. Checked the motherboard and EZ Debug light for VGA was on. Tried a different PSU, different videocard, the other PCI-E port and removing some of the RAM. Made no difference.

  • Once you add in postage (for those who aren't local), you might as well go for a cheap B550.
