PRICE REDUCED Ainol Aurora II DualCore 1.5GHz 1GB/16GB Android 4.0 7inch IPS - $150.63 Shipped

160

If you like this deal, please feel free to use my affiliate link

The Ainol NOVO7 Aurora II tablet PC adopts Android 4.0 OS and is powered by Amlogic 8726-M6 Cortex-A9 dual core 1.5GHz CPU and 1GB DDR3 RAM to make its running more stably and faster. 7-inch IPS capacitive multi-touch screen design brings some convenience to play games and browse websites. It supports WiFi and external 3G networks, and has a 2MP front camera for taking pictures and video chat. Besides, it supports 1080P HDMI output. With stylish design and high performance, it is a wonderful tablet PC for your choice.

More Ainol for everyone! Yes, I know it is cheaper on Aliexpress, but I don't feel comfortable purchasing from overseas without Paypal(I'm sure I'm not alone here, escrow or not), and most of the cheaper sellers either force you to buy larger quantities or have little to no reputation.

And you also get a free tracking number with all orders over $15.

  • Almost 10 affiliate-link-infested postings within 2 days — don't you think that it's a bit excessive?

    • +1

Yea, you are probably right, just driving me crazy sitting here applying for jobs and no money coming in blah blah blah, I'm sure you get the picture, I'll cut it back.

      • Yeah, while OzBargain posting guidelines do allow affiliate links on some websites, I am just thinking the fact that almost every link from you from the 2 days contain one — it's just too much.

We certainly do no want everyone else coming here posting cheap tablet deals with their own aff links.

Good luck with applying for jobs, btw.

        • Roger that sir.

          Thanks, it is needed!

        • +1

Not really sure why affiliate links are an issue as long as the main link is non-affiliate and there's no real spruiking for it done.

        • I admit I went a bit overboard, I see where he is coming from.

      • Curious if you've received many signups under your affiliate link?

        • A handful, nothing ground breaking, but I didn't expect it to be, I'm just in a tight situation and jumped at something and took it overboard, lesson learnt.

        • +2

All of your last 15 deals have had some positives, and no negatives….
Keep posting I say….. You'll soon find out if you post a bad deal…..

        • +2

I have been here long enough to know not to post shit, let's put it that way lol, and I will keep posting deals (I will hold onto the better ones and place aff links on them, the really good ones :P) but I will keep posting, I have 1 or 2 others that I will post as soon as my limit is reset lol.

    • it does seem to be cheap though. same tablet elsewhere i have seen is more expencive, and the link takes off a few extra $$ (my 2c)
and this tablet is better than the other with an IPS screen

  • btw. the Aurora is the same as the Elf except for the fact it has an IPS screen so better colours, angles, brightness you name it

  • so, shaw, what about the coupon code: http://www.buysku.com/Customer/Coupon.htm
and the facebook like discount ? 4% ?

(i don't intend creating an account to find out th final price.. perhaps you can)

    • I tried logging in with Facebook, but didn't notice any difference, and as far as I know, the coupons don't work on the "deal" products.

    • nice find, $10 off my order (plan on getting a cover for it and maybe a doc, not sure) good thing i didnt order yet

      • how did you do that?

        • Yeah, neither worked for me.

        • The coupons would work when purchasing peripherals.

  • +1

Yes. Ali express are horrible. Their escrow system protects the sellers and not the buyers.

  • I bought one 2 weeks ago.
My first comment was "wow", it's a great unit with the 16Gb nand onboard.
I don't know why these units gain negative feedback.
For the price, the Ainol NOVO7 Aurora II Dual-Core 1.5GHz is a bargain!

    • +1

Simple. Most people are brand conscious. They want apple or Samsung. Having a brand name which is synonymous with anal does not help. These tablets are great value for money.

    • I saw a review (Engadget, I think) which said Ainol have 'stripped' android of it's ability to sync a google account across apps, have you experienced anything like that?

      • +1

no, syncing with Google seems to be there. It's my first ICS experience and it's a great one on a tablet. I can install almost all the apps I've bought but some companies (Gameloft for one) seem to limit your purchase to one device. I bought for my HTC Incredible S yet they don't allow it to run on this far better-specced device. Other companies are not the same. Very happy purchaser here.
However, I bought from another OS company tho'.

I guess it's a good deal, for those that like ainol.

  • I m still waiting for mine to come :) if i like it i ll order a second one… If ainol just include gps in their tabs their tabs would be thr best sellers in the world :)

  • can't get enough of ainol!

  • It says $158.99. How do I get it for $153.63

    • Change the currency :)

  • does it come in white? is it the same price?

    • Looks like just black mate.

      • thanks

  • so is there a big difference in terms of picture quality and overall performance between this and the Elf 2 ?
Im looking for a cheap tablet to jst kill time on the train n maybe watch a movie or play some games. Im thinking the Elf 2 should do..

    • If cost is more important than the better looking visual finish, then go for the elf 2.

      • Damn it! Ended up buying this lol
        Thanks for the post man

  • so this company is ok to deal with. also how is the warranty with this company.

  • Nexus Tablet getting very close,
    http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2012/06/this-is-googles-new-nexus-…

These prices will drop even more.

    • wonder if the suggested price of us$199 be converted to aus$ using xe.com rates :P

anyways bit the bullet and bought this. lets see how long it takes to deliver.

  • Just so you guys know, I just noticed that the price has been reduced down to $150.

    • i bought it today. do i get a $3 refund?

      • Lol you could try emailing and asking them.

      • +1

Let us know how you go with buysku? I was thinking of getting one direct from ainol for about $20 more just for the piece of mind in regards to shipping & warranties

        • well its been almost 2 weeks and the package is still in china

  • i am the same as biglethal. dont understand who gave u a neg. this is why sometimes i wonder if the companies do it. thks shaw for putting this one up. have u dealt with them much.

    • Lol yea, no neg :P

I just post the deals mate, you guys have the money, not me.

  • sorry there is no neg, lol it was a mark on my screen.cant believe that one.

  • Still waiting for mine to arrive and that tracking number they gave me is useless!
    Anyone get theres yet?

    • Could try messaging them asking what is going on, a few ways to do it :

      http://www.buysku.com/Help/LiveChat.html

      • message wont go through, their server seems to be down.

    • mine is still in china. if it doesnt leave china by the end of the week im going to open a case with paypal

      • Finally managed to get my tracking number to work, it has item departed china on 2012-07-02.. but no update since, and auspost tracking website doesnt pick up the tracking number :/

  • Same thing here. Status is departure from outward office of exchange on 2/7 and then nothing. The memory card I ordered arrived in less than a week. Their online chat is offline now.

  • i received mine just now

  • tried to download the faceobok app and its saids its not compatible lol

    • wat did ur tracking number say on the website mate?

  • It gets worse, Aus post has returned the item back to sender as they did not include my company name and which level I am on. I tried contacting them via their website but always gets server internal error. Got their direct email and sent it through.

When I check my account it did include my full company address in there. wth….
