    Quck

    You misspelled quack.

    • +3

I think he was trying to spell Cuck.

You might get a quick charge, but 480Mbps is slow for data.

I good USB cable these days does 20x that speed. A very good one, 80x.

        You fast cable. Me Grug

      • +1

Can't see any that offer quick charge with that high USB speed though ? Any recommendations?

Particularly as I'm trying to find a 2m cable as I have the oppo super vooc ones but their the short standard types

Bought stuff from Shopping Square a few times, but never got delivered and had to chase for refunds. Not sure if that happens with others too.

    • +1

From the previous times I’ve bought from them, shipping took ages. Like buying from China ages

    • +1

Bought a couple of items from them, such as microSD, HDD, so far so good; happy with their delivery speed

    • Noted thanks, will definitely buy through paypal then.

    • took 3 years for them to deliver my sd card

    • Bought an SD card years ago from Shopping Square, they charged me shipping ( $5-7) and then just stuck it in a normal envelope with a 45c stamp and mailed it to me.

Cheaper if you have eBay plus
    - $7.79 for same cable - free delivery

    • +1

I have Ebay Plus and it came up as $9.99 for me after choosing 100W 2M cable.

      • +1

        Use PTCH22

        • Ah, that works, thanks. Sadly, though, I'd already taken up OP's offer.

Waiting for ebay delivery is a drag now. Amazon have spoiled us with next day.

      eBay plus(ebay.com.au)
      $7.79 for same cable

      Bugger.

Note to self; always scroll down to the comment section before making an impulsive buy!

    • Thanks! Used ebay gift card from previous cashrewards deal!

FYI all, these 100w cables, i got a few. they are ridged. and though they are fine, you dont want to bend them

  • +6

I have so many cable i forget which one is 100 watt which one 20 watt which one 480mbps which one 10gb data.. they all like the same…. should have label them properly…..

    • +2

Not sure if you mean these specifically, but these have 100w written at the connection area, vs the 60w versions of these which are blank there.

      • +2

Yup this one okay but 99% other cables, nothing. Any idea how to check? (The watt and also transfer speed)

        • You may need a USB tester/meter. But Im not sure about the speed rate.

    • How does that work out??

I thought the whole point of moving to using USB-C only was so you only needed 2 or 3 cables total and can charge all your devices.

  • Good time to buy this to pair with the recent Apple TV deals … https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/731449

  • All good, but 480Mbps data speed looks like iPhone lock - need to buy another cable for data :(
Time for the EU to enforce waste reduction ;)

    • I heard USB-C on iPad is restricted at 480Mbps. Most people won’t need a data cable for iPad but Apple may do the same thing on iPhone 15 or other non-thunderbolt devices too.
They should also enforce the minimum transfer rate, not just the USB-C connector.

  • Does anyone know if these work with Oppo super vooc chargers ? I have a 65w Oppo find X2 pro so Watts wise this seems ok. But I'm presuming the proprietary cables have electronics that allow the phones to super vooc charge at ?

  • Anyone know if there's a way to determine if it can be used for display? (e.g is there a classification or whatnot on cables for this)

    • +2

This is not for display. You want at least 10gbps. look for usb 3.1 gen2 or better

  • Can anyone recommend a cable for pixel 7 pro?

All the fast charge cables I have that I used on my Huawei p30 don't seem compatible with the px7 pro….

    • Might be the charger you're using… double check.

      • Yeah I've tried multiple chargers too, my old Huawei charger (not a supercharger) as apparently google restricts fast charging as their stance is it damages battery life.. my old p30 is 4.5 years old still had good battery life?

But yeah my bose headphones cable works but annoyingly it's really short.. so I'm looking for a longer cable.

  • Just got a couple they are back in stock
