Hopefully people have better luck with delivery than me. Been waiting a month so far

    • What is with Samsung delivery. It's terrible

  • +1

Thanks! Was just looking for an air purifier

  • +4

Has anyone managed to find an air purifier that can get rid of allergens, my hayfever has been acting up seriously this year.

    • would like to know as well. before my purifier comes i'm wearing all those FFP2 masks left over from last year.

    • I might be off base .. but in theory wouldn't all purifiers that have a HEPA filter inside them help significantly ?

      • Pollen is pretty chunky so you wouldn't even need the typical H13 HEPA filter. The big issue is that most purifiers only use PM2.5 sensors, which won't detect the larger pollen particles so the fans won't ramp up.

These Samsungs should be fine as they look to have separate VOC, PM2.5 and PM10 sensors.

Moot point if you want to only run them manually though.

  • Do Samsung have a combined purifier/fan or is it just Dyson that do this?

Wanting to cool down the room without having to open a window which ultimately offsets the purifier…

    • +1

All hepa purifiers use fans. Dyson just uses marketing to make you think their units are different. But ok main difference is the direction of air flow - most (not all) purifiers shoot clean air up. Dyson fans project air forward.

      • +1

Appreciate the clarification - never realised! Their marketing worked on me

  • been looking for AX90; wonder if Goodguys price match this..

  • How long does a filter last?

    • +1

I have Xiaomi 3H (3yrs) Homedic fan like one (8yrs?!) and Samsung (2yrs) -all have HEPA and all turned on 247 at low mode. Try to change it every 10month.
      (I dont have a carpet)
You can visually inspect the filter how dirty it is.

Been piling up filters when they are on a special and unit will probably last 5+ yrs.

You need to clean up the pre filter every month as well.
Lots of dust will build up than we think on pre filter.

  • +3

    Discounted AX90 $500, filter $300 / 6 months.

Cost excluding electricity after 5 years $3500.

Filter replacement costs kills the deal

      SAVE-AP-POLLEN
Filter is half price as well using the same code ;)

  • +1

wow nice coupon code! Got the AX60 for 399.

    • I got $10.17 more back for it with cashrewards too.

  • Would love to get one, but replacement filters costs are too high, similar to Dyson's…

  • It seems that you can stack this with 2.5% off via cashrewards too (pending cashback approval in few months). I just got AX60 for $389.33. Noice.

    • @parxier

was your AX60 on pre order. seems like they all sold out of the AX60

      • Correct was OOS now back order.

    • +1

Cashback is ineligible on use of codes not listed on Cashrewards

      • I don't see the coupon code SAVE-AP-POLLEN listed on Cashrewards.
      • Cashrewards lists 2.8% cashback. Where did you see 2.5%?
      • Cashback pending does not mean cashback approved. Do you have assurance from Cashrewards that your purchase is eligible for cashback even with the use of an unlisted coupon code?
  • +3

Dont forget to stack $50 off codes (signup for email newsletter bonus)

    • are you able to stack the $50 code?

      • yes. I got the AX60 for $350. Also stacked Cashrewards (~2%) but not counting on it.

        • thanks ozcheep,

          received my $50 code

got it for $350 as well.

          good buy

          • @edBARGAIN: How long did it take to receive the email with the code? I signed up for the newsletter a few hours ago and haven't seen anything yet :(

            • +1

@pbjabba: @pbjabba yea they wont send
              email them straight away

"If you don’t receive our automated response email with the promotion code within 24 to 48 hours after you have subscribed. Please send an email to [email protected] for the promotion code. Please check your junk or spam folders. If you are using a Gmail Account, please check the promotions tab."

              • @edBARGAIN: Applied for it 24 hours ago. No email still. Emailed & rang number provided. Said it can take up to 48 hours & cant do anything about it from there end. It is with promotions team who are uncontactable

                • @Aman: Did you get it in the end? I applied Wed night and nothing. Contacted support twice and they apparently escalated and still nothing.

    • Is there a link for the newsletter? Been looking all over the website and can't find it

  • Yes pls confirm this !! I am going for it if it does

  • +2

just to note the ax60 has wheels underneath and only needs 1 filter

where the ax90 has no wheels and needs 2 filter replacements

each filter costs $150 to replace

this did change my decision for the ax60

  • Filters cost way too much, must be a cheaper alternative or reuse it after cleaning it?

    • Filters were half price with the code. Expired now :(

      • I am pretty sure it is still active.

        • Thanks for the heads up - just logged out of my account and you're right!

          • @bargainshooter: It is probably a one-use-per-account code. Have you tried combining this with the $50 coupon? I wonder if the $350 is pre or after discount min.

            • @truetypezk: I logged out and it worked! $50 code stacked as well - didn't have to use it with email i subscribed with…

              • @bargainshooter: How many filters did you add in order to use the $50 code? 3? Or 5?

                • @truetypezk: Over $350 and you dont have to buy filter only.
                  Example
                  1 AX32
                  3 Cfx-k100
                  $378 - ($50) = $328

              • @bargainshooter: If you have the promo code for $50 can you please pm if unused, been waiting 4 days for it, and nothing

  • Can anyone pm a spare code for $50 off? I subscribed to the newsletter but it has been over 48 hours and still haven't received a code

    • +1

Try again, they seem to have fixed it. I signed up again last Friday and got the code in just a few mins.

      • I emailed customer service and they sent me a code this morning

        • +1

Yeah I did the same last Wed and received the codes this morning. Looks like they are batch sending those manual requests.

          • @truetypezk: I have done it Wed night and still nothing, is yours a gmail account?

  • $173.5 for 3 filter, can any existing ax60 owner clarify is this a good price ? Or it was lower before?

  • It looks like they have officially added the filters to the offer

And it looks like the AX60 and AX32 is now available for pre-order…

I've been looking at these for ages.

  • If anyone here hasnt used their $50 code can you please pm me, i've been waiting since Wednesday and got nothing.

  • looking for a $50 code as well if anyone has an unused one

  • Hi All, Just an update, I purchased the AX60 purifier around 23rd Nov and Samsung cancelled my order with no notification. Ordered direct and said they no longer manufacture this item and filter will not be available for sale either.

  • Has anyone received thier order yet? I ordered an AX90 on the 11th of Nov and it has now passed the arrival date but Samsung refuse to provide any tracking numbers

    • That is pretty strange, I ordered the AX90 on 14 Nov and received it on the 22nd via truck delivery. They sent me the tracking number on the next day of order. You might wanna call and find out what is going on.

  • +1

Samsung just cancelled my order (AX90) due to stock unavailability or lost in transit.
    Order placed 8th Nov.

Unit is still available on website ($699) and discount code no longer works.

Samsung won't honour price I paid $499.50. Will only offer 15%off code.
I don't think I've got any consumer rights on this one. Bad experience with Samsung on this one.

    • I think all you need is a new Samsumg account (if you still want the unit), the code is single use/account. I used one account for the base unit and another account for 3 pcs of filters. Used same delivery details, no issue at all.

    • My bad, looks like the code is indeed expired.

      • And get this.
For some reason they are saying my order is a return not cancelled. And won't refund me until the unit is returned to Samsung. Even though it was never delivered it.
        Can't make this stuff up.

        • Probably lost in transit and waiting for the unit to be redirected back to them

          • @Scope: I got this too. Except the last status from the courier appeared to indicate that they showed up at the Samsung warehouse and Samsung didn't give them the delivery
