Thanks op, got another one for spare in case my current one dies.

  • Will this be too small coming from using mx master ?

    • +1

IMO yes. I have MX Master 3 for work, and have the the Viper Mini at home. MX master is comfortable albeit a wee bit heavy.

I used the Viper mini for FPS but gave up because I was getting hand cramps (finger tip grip). I still think the mouse is great value, well built etc, but just not for me. My kids love this mouse.

      • +3

I also have both, hate the MX master overall, feels like a brick. It's probably going to depend on hand size, but they are still radically different mice for different purposes. The regular viper would probably be better if you're concerned about it being to small relative to the MX.

Razer DeathAdder V2 also on sale for $49.

    • which one is better? This deal of V2?

      • +1

Do you have fingers the size of toothpicks? Of so you can go this one.

      • They're both very solid mice - I wouldn't say there's a definitive winner because they cater to different hands.

    • Is wireless DA on sale?

is this a good mouse for work?

I'm currently using the kmart Typhoon brand

    • +2

I got one recently after getting annoyed with the trackpad on my work computer. Razor mice are good quality and this one's no exception.

        Thank you, bought

got it for $35 from Amazon AU last month and its great, don’t regret it at all upgrading from a Deathadder which i hated.

Has anyone tried this in an university context? ie. will the girls look down on me because I have a smaller mice?

    • +1

Depends which uni you're in. In some unis, you'll leave it on a table for 3 minutes and when you come back, it would have disappeared 💨

      • +1

why are there three fingers? do u get fingered at your uni?

        • +1

          The smoke emoji?

    • +3

Despite what you may see online, most girls will actually prefer a Viper Mini over a Deathadder V2, particularly if you are proficient with other peripheral devices.

    • +6

They will think it’s so cute and demand to pet it.

    • +1

Your hands will appear humongous on the viper mini.

I personally use this at uni, insanely good mouse for the price. I think if you're worried about people judging the size of your mouse that's a you issue…

Just cancelled my order, didn't read "mini" bit. I need a full size mouse for work

    • +1

It's not miniature like a portable mouse, it's a small full-sized mouse. Its advantage is that it's an inexpensive very light weight mouse, good for FPS gaming and a steal at this price if you care about the weight. Nothing too special about it in a work context though.

  • +1

this is a great price, excellent mouse

  • +1

Excellent mouse, been using one for the past 18 months and is very comfortable to use, particularly for FPS games. Build quality is excellent too, no visible signs of wear, even on the braided cable.

  • +1

Bought this mouse a while ago. I came from a logitech g502. Quite a bit smaller, but very useable and well worth it for under $30. I normally hate Razer products, but this is a good one. Nice and light.

I wouldn't recommend if you have largish hands and/or prefer palm grip. More suited to finger tip/claw grips.

  • I have a wireless Basilisk for home use/WFH and a wired Basilisk for working in the office. Tempted to get one of these for the occasions I work from my laptop out of the office/coffee shops. Easy to chuck in the laptop bag

  • +1

Perhaps clearing stock before viper mini wireless release? They said it would come after the naga, so it's gotta be any day now.

  • everyone here pay shipping?

Got one, thanks op. My last Deathadder Chroma's scrolling wheel failed within a few weeks, hopefully this time it's better.

You might get a free 30-days trial at the checkout.

Edit: Viper mini's size is very similar to older GPro/G203/G102, check size and review @ https://www.rocketjumpninja.com/top-mice

  • Thanks OP - Just ordered one for my younger brother - absolutely killer deal!
