I knew I peaked too early with the BWS deal on Tuesday!

  • I thought yesterday there was a 10 off code that was expiring end of today. I must’ve been wrong.

    Since when?

    • got cashback from cashrewards while using staff discounts even thought T n C says ineligible. the one at shopback is pending but should be fine

      • Yes I did in Sept with CR. SB has been tracked even as y'day & recent Oct ones have been paid.

        I haven't noticed that t&c before.

        • its a recent tnc. cashrewards was fine. waiting for shopback to approve the tracked transaction. i guess its a number like flybuys and not a code. so should be fine

  • Been a long time since i purchased with CR at FCL - does it still count if you pay with the registered credit card you have with CR? Or do you specifically need to go through the portal and place order that way?

ps looks good combined with https://www.firstchoiceliquor.com.au/beer/brookvale-union-gi…

If my maths works out right, potentially 66.28 for the slab.

Need a stacking offer to pull the trigger

I love how greedy we've become with these things haha. Before CR, 20% off alcohol anywhere was unheard of.

Or rather - used to being spoilt for choice 😀

yeah but theres definitely been some price creep since covid started.

        • +1

Yup 100% agree with the price creep. Makes the now 20% off not so palatable especially when no points offer to stack with it (e.g. Compared to before with lower base price, 30-40% Cashback and points stack)

    • It's suited to beer purchases, which take up lots of room in my apartment and have a limited shelf life. For wine and spirits I tend to hold out.

      • Dark beers can last for years

        • +2

Sure, but the problem with dark beers is that they're dark beers. Nothing says summer refreshment like tucking into a pint of bile soup.

    • If u got a 28degrees card, some of us are being offered $10 back from a $100 spend…

  • Not a bad deal for Chandon "Vintage" - https://www.firstchoiceliquor.com.au/sparkling/chandon-vinta…

Purchase 5 bottles for $150 delivered - you should get back 27.28 cashback - after cashback of 20% ->

    150 - (150 / 1.1 * .2) = $122.72

    $122.72 / 5 = $25.54 per bottle.
