$56 at catch for those with onepass, but otherwise great pickup deal from target!

  • Any benifit in buying multiple of these?

      You get more cards.

      • But you could just buy booster packs.

    • Not really. Booster box is more cost effective per booster if you're just looking to rip open packs

        What about making profit?

        • Maybe in 10 years for an unsealed product or if you can pull the Giratina alt. If you want to make money stop looking at children's cardboard and go have a look at ETFs.

          • @locosharko: Ive lost money there. Collector items seems to be a good bet.

@Jklaro: Everything goes up when economy is booming. Most things that are discretionary will crash when the economy tanks. Shiny cardboard will be one of the first.

Who buys stamps, collectors and commemorative items anymore? You'll pick 99% for a bargain.

Knowing the 1% that go up in value won't be information you get on an online forum.

Pro Tip: don't get between people and their money.

              • @zinkle: Yer. I kinda enjoy cards so the possibility of making a profit is a bonus if it happens. Im happy to buy for my kids.

Im not expecting me to spend $100 and get back $1000 but if i can get back the same value at least its good.

Oof, thanks for that! I had been eyeing the Gift Tins so I ended up getting 3 tins for $77 with free delivery! :)

      • 3 Christmas gifts sorted

    • Absolute legend, thanks!

  • Are the cards in each starter box the same? And the booster boxes random packets?

  • lol asked my local target to price match amazon for $70 last week and they refused. Now they are doing a discount, we must be going into a recession, i saw their poke card shelves were overfull. lol…
