Looks pretty similar to the Kings one which is currently under $100

It looks ridiculously small in that video thumbnail but I know someone that got one awhile back and rates it pretty highly

    • The Kings one is the "Medium" size. This one is the "Large" model which is only slightly bigger.

  • Paid $249 from snowys a year ago. Normal price at $299, not a deal.

  • One word…. KINGS

They've all copied the japanese snowpeak which is a once in a lifetime purchase. I'm not saying cheap and affordable is a bad thing but sometimes it's nice to support the inventor rather than the imitator. Plus the planet will thank you.

This right here! The original is the Japanese Snowpeak. For this item specifically Darche = Kings = Camping Moon = Grillz. The only thing to watch out for is the size as there's 3 different sizes. I opted for the Camping Moon MT-045 which is the same as this grill 100%. Much cheaper at $130 and available on Amazon AU.

I’ve got the OG Snow Peak version. Can’t beat the quality Japanese construction and original design.

        • Eh I have a bit of Snow Peak gear but for the firepit I was happy to grab a copycat as looking at the specs they’re exactly the same. I got the Trail-X one and it’s held up fine.

      • How do you find the size ? too small wish you had bought the bigger one ? or its sweet ?

      • +1

The Darche is 33% heavier - even heavier than the Snowpeak. Likely that its stainless steel is thicker and stronger than the cheapies.

  • People get sucked into buying it because of the brand and as always justify paying an extra $200

    • You could also say that people get sucked in to buying cheap immitations, resulting in them ending up in landfill due to their inferior quality/design.

  • Not always. I've had mine for 10 years and the Chinese rip-offs hadn't come onto the market yet.
