Anyone knows if paying for car rego counted toward minumum spending for bonus point with ANZ card? It has a CTP insurance which I would think is a commercial transaction. Thanks.

Depends on the card. Read the terms and conditions. Typically rego is a no but CTP is a yes (because CTP is with private insurance companies)

AFAIK only NAB and Amex credit cards count Government payments. Most others exclude them.

It should count towards your minimum spend, but be excluded from calculation of rewards / frequent flyer points.
