amaysim Unlimited Prepaid Mobile 22GB $25 Per 28 Days (Bonus 28GB on Activation) @ Coles

60

There is no official link to the offer from either Coles or Amaysim that I could locate, however I was doing a bit of shopping at coles today and noticed this great offer is back!

$25 per month ($8 for the $25 starter kit in store this week) gives you 22gb a month with a once off 28gb bonus upon activation along with an unlimited data banking as with Amaysim's standard offerings.

Important to note that if you change off this plan, you will be unable to return to it unless you buy a new starter kit and port out/back in.
Includes VoLTE/WiFi-Call as per all Optus MVNOs now but some have reported that you need to talk to Amaysim on live chat to enable it.

Offer ends on the 31st of Jan 2023

  • So bonus data is each month?

    • +1

No only for the first month, for some reason the post was edited and now suggests it is 50gb every month

      • +1

Re-edited the title as the last revisor didnt make it 100% clear

    So, 22x11+50=292gb a year for $25x11 + $8 = $281.
    Nothing amazing here

    • after you exhausted $2.9 Kogan and often free or pay-to-use Boost :)

The deal should be $8 for 50GB for 28 days. Then leave.

If you stop recharging the next month. Can you use the data for 12 months until sim expired? Or data also expired after 28 days?

if you change plans your data will be lost if you stay on the same plan your data will bank im pretty sure

Their "pay as you go" (PAYG) plan lasts for a year without having to add credit. If you don't repay your plan at the end of the time period it transfers into a PAYG plan.

So to have the account continue without adding more credit to it, you need to change its plan to the "pay as you go" plan, but will this cause you to loose the banked data from this plan?

Is the data bank associated with the plan, or the account, so it can be transferred between plans? I assume it's the plan, otherwise that would make a big loophole to get around their plan time limits, which ensure they get a regular payment. Someone could just set-up a one month plan, not renew it, and continue to use the data past the time limit until it runs out, and then buy another "month".

It's the plan, although i would hazard a guess that if you were upgrading your plan to a higher one they might allow you to keep your databank given you're paying more per month ongoing (live chat bargaining) but def if you downgrade or change off of this offer to any other you lose all banked data
