Looks to be the best price according to the camels. May be price matching Officeworks who look to be clearing it. No stock at most Officeworks around me. Maybe better stock levels elsewhere.

  • Does it come with Unifying receiver?

    • +2

      yes… and bluetooth

      • +1

        Thanks bought one.

        • Included Accessories
          Universal stand, USB receiver

          • @jv: There is a photo with unifying receiver.

            • +1

@Iluvfreebies-freeDel: Could always be just an indicator that it works with it but I guess it would be pretty scammy/scummy if it didn't come with one.

              • @ozbs25: It says it is included.

                • @jv: I couldn't see that info on Amazon's page. Logitech's page yes.

                  • @ozbs25: It's on the OW page.

                    • +1

@jv: Yes JV, on the OW page, it does say it's included.

I have this keyboard. And yes, it does come with a unifying receiver

  • there are quite a few bad reviews about this on the officeworks site.

    • Would prefer to have an OzBargain review or better yet a JV review.

Haven't bought one as I have a spare keyboard already, but can't complain too much for $25 I'm guessing.

      • Yes, it is 3 keyboards in one. Excellent for work from home.

        • +1

Already have a K780 that I barely use. Don't really need a spare for the spare. Not that I haven't bought extra spares for other things before…

If someone posts a glowing review, it might twist my arm though.

        • Yeah, using it since I got a laptop, desktop and a "TV" aka another laptop with monitor on my desk. Paired with 2 M720s mouse, each connected to all three via unifying receiver. Very easy to jump around the different machines. Note that the switch with unifiying is instant, but there is a lag with bluetooth, so I use receiver on all three machines.

Mine has been collecting dust. After seeing this deal, decided to turn it on.

Using the keyboard now. Feels a bit soft. Also, noticed no print screen, pause and scroll lock keys (probably no big deal nowadays).

        • Mine has been collecting dust.

Are you suggesting that is a design fault?

          • +1

@jv: Of course it is a design fault. It cannot possibly be my impulsive buying habit. There is no FOMO in OZBers' dictionary.

Now, where did I keep the unifying receiver?

        • +2

I think "Fn + Insert" = Print Screen

    • Isn't this keyboard's control board being used in some DIY mechanical keyboards to gain Unifying capability? Some people just want a cheap one and shuck it.

Bad reviews may not be that important isn't it Haha

  • Nice. Thanks

Thanks for changing the title Twix. Beat me by a few seconds. :D

Thanks for changing the title Twix.

    • Thank you very much vu. :D

    • Thank @vu!

  • I bought this last year and the key of F4 did not work after several months. The quality is not very good.

  • Thanks, bought one. Always wanted to buy a Logitech keyboard with the unifying receiver to play WOW classic on the laptop, now I have quitted the game but hey, for $25 you can;t complain.

  • Wish it had a trackpad as well. Any suggestions for such a thing?

    • +1

      F

      • +1

Do you have a link to where to buy 'F' ???

    • K400.

      • K400 seems good except it only supports connectivity via wifi meaning you will have to plug in the dongle to USB which seems less practical to use with an android phone

  • +3

HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT THIS KEYBOARD FOR 2.5 YEARS NOW, TIME WELL SPENT WAITING, SEARCHING TO SAVE $8 WELL DONE ME. #OZBARGAIN LIFE #K375S #SURVIVING ON $1 DEALS #I HAVE NO LIFE

    • +1

I guess you need a new keyboard as your capslock key seem stuck or broken.

  • +3

Logitech make the worst keyboards, pass it on….

Not even for $25, not even if they paid me that

Spend your money on a decent mechanical, just a word of advice after 30+ years in IT, it wont even up in your garage collecting dust like this will in 8 months (max)

    • What's the reasonable price mechanical keyboard recommendation? Pls suggest

      • +4

Theres at least 25 mech keyboards under $100 at pccasegear, some even have hotswappable parts meaning you can repair them and keep them going for years using standard key parts. Even the cheap ones will be a level up from the spongy (too) long or (too) short travel membrane nonsense from Logitech at the price bracket this special is at (and beyond)

        https://www.pccasegear.com/category/113_1276/keyboards/mecha…

I was lucky enough to grab a nice AKKO one - full sized and retro themed (i got the kit without the lary orange keys, all those were grey on mine)

        https://www.pccasegear.com/products/56140/akko-steam-engine-…

for $79 ($50 off) a few months back to replace a mech keyboard id had for 5 years (which didnt have swappable parts).

This time around i went for tactile keys over the very clicky keys.

AKKO, KeyChron or Ducky are good for most folks, some people like to lose their minds and buy the barebones Glorious stuff and go mental over keycaps and stabilizer bars , i leave that to the crazy people

I still miss the IBM Model M from the original IBM PC, still the best keyboard ever made - now cost a fortune for refurbed ones…

Have a mate that im still trying to wean off Logitech keyboards, over the last 4 years ive seen him buy 5 Logitech K800 keyboards (at up to $250 a pop) because he likes them, but somehow cant see theyre about as reliable as 1800's vintage toilet paper. Every time one of them breaks i get a panicked phone call "i cant use my PC" to which my inevitable reply is "plug that cheap wired keyboard i left you 3 K800's ago in". Within a week, he'll have been on Ebay and found one of the dwindling supply (thank god) of these terrible things and paid through the nose for it". There is no helping some people….theres something you learned after 30 year sin IT. People gonna do stupid shit…and keep doing it

    • Are mechanical keyboards better than Logitech MX Keys for touch-typing with minimal typing errors?

      • +1

Depends on the switches, keycap profile, etc. and of course you and your touch-typing skills.

I'd say it doesn't necessarily matter if it's mechanical or not, you get used to any keyboard over time with enough use.

    • For home use, with an office away from everyone, yes

Mech keyboards are not suited for work or anything this keyboard is suited for. Your co-workers or your partner will hate you for the clacking you get, even if you use an oring.

But yes, membrane can break more easily. Though I only have one happen to me, and none of the scissor switches keyboard so far did.

  • I don't know why so much bad press. I picked one of these up around this time last year and have been using it 8 hours a day for WFH. It is great I can't fault it. I don't think I have had to change the batteries in that time too. I am using it and a trackball on the same unifying receiver, got it for $31 if I remember correctly. Would recommend.

oh that's right I got used it as part of some mastercard $10 cashback promo so maybe not too far from this price after all

    • +2

Logitech USED to make good gear, they still make the occasional good mouse, but their keyboards are hot garbage built to a price point (and honestly well below), and not to a quality level of even 10 years ago. The best mouse i ever had was made my them, had a base station to charge it etc. And they killed it off. Because it worked too well and lasted for too long. I have one of their webcams here, Full HD, cant really fault it. Still miles better than the Microsoft equivalent. But keyboards, hard pass. When you type as much as i do, day in, day out, over 30 years, the last thing you want is a cheap keyboard from Logitech thats built to a price well below what youre paying for it. You may as well go buy it, then dig a hole in your backyard and bury it unopened, you'll be cutting out the middle part where you get super frustrated at the number of typos you make and have to retype day in and day out, and the sore wrists etc…fatigue is a thing

      • had this keyboard for about 2 years. never had any typo issues like you said. any brand can produce lemons. or maybe i just don't know any better - been using logitech keyboards for 20 years, still got a PS/2 one at work

  • What does "OOS" mean in "Amazon AU (OOS)"?

    • +3

Out of stock. But it's back now for 39…so sti oos for 25

  • Managed to score one, ordered last night for C&C today and just got confirmation that it's ready.
May just end up as a christmas gift for someone.

    • +1

Then they might sell it on Facebook Marketplace as an unwanted gift.

      • then it's someone else's gain

  • Done dusted !!

  • Very convenient, yes, but how secure are your typed passwords?

    • +1

you have a separate keyboard to type passwords?

    • I guess you already know that all the worlds secret services including china's and russia have a backdoor access to your keyboard.

  • Got refunded on a click and collect order. Picked the one that had the most in the metro area.

    • I don't know how accurate Officeworks stock levels are.

      • Does "not very" sum it up for you?

  • Same here, ordered Saturday nite from Officeworks for pick up in Greenacre, got refund and cancellation email Sunday at 2pm they couldnt fulfil it. To their credit the full refund was issued at the same time.

  • Got mine today. Can confirm is sh*t

    • What about it is shit?

      • It is not shit. It is cheap material and quality and only worth $25. For me switching between devices is instant but the only issue is the light that shows which device is connected turns off after connection and also double as function keys which is bit annoying.
