    Stop tempting me!!!

    • +1

The best thing you can do to stop the temptation is to buy one ;)

  • Have been waiting for anker make for over 6 months, I am half tempted to cancel my order and buy another creality.

  • Who is the differences between neo and the normal one?

    • +14

      Neo is The One

    • Looks like auto leveling (CR touch), upgraded bowden tube and magnetic bed. Not sure $370 is really a bargain.

      • I’m out of the loop with 3d printers, but is it worth the roughly $50 premium? The original v2 used to go for south of $320

        • +4

          CR touch = $40
          Capricon tube = $30
          Magentic bed = $50

Fairly worth it against the RRP of V2, but probably still a lot cheaper to get the previous version (Ender 3 Pro) on sale for $200 and buy these upgrades separately if you dont mind the old style LCD screen.

          • @Kill Joy: Would it be worth it if you just wanted something closer to plug and play? I guess you're tinkering whether you like it or not it seems.

            • @mit: At this price range nothing is truly plug and play. You'll be doing a lot of tinkering until the $800+ range. The benefit of Ender 3s is it has massive community support so you'll have the easiest time finding support compared to alternatives in the same price range.

              • @Kill Joy: Fair enough. Might wait for another Aquila x2 deal. Seems the same but cheaper. Gotta mod anyways…

          • @Kill Joy: You forgot the all-metal hotend.

            • @Tacooo: Is it an all-metal hotend? Doesn't mention it on Creality's site and temperature/filament support is the same as a standard V2.

Im waiting for the elegoo neptune 3 pro tbh.

  • Tempting… but I am thinking I want the bigger print volume of the CR-10 V3

  • Got my v2 (not neo) yesterday, have only had problems, main one is that the X axis isn't flat meaning the bed can't be leveled properly = can't print. Tried all the fixes none worked. In the process of returning it (thanks Amazon). I would only purchase a creality printer from a store with a strong returns policy (Amazon) because their quality control has gone down the drain in recent years. Alot of people on the 3d printing discord also advise against.

    • I just grabbed an Ender 3 S1 Plus a couple of days ago. I spent about 4 hours diagnosing and fixing a probing error I was getting. Extremely frustrating. I got it sorted in the end and it’s printing amazingly. But prior, I almost threw it out the window.

        How did you fix it?

        • Still unsure to be honest. I was getting a probe 203 error. The print head always went too close to the bed to level it. I could raise it manually, but then during probing, it’d get too close again.
Originally, the bed was loose, so I tightened it. But the after turning it off and on a bunch of times, it just works. Sorry, I know that’s not helpful. But by the end, I was just blindly trying random things to fix it.

  • Good price - purchased the v2 Neo directly from Creality a week back for $455.99 - though that included two 1KG PLA Filament packets plus Nozzles.
