Thanks, been trying to learn web dev for the last 12 years.
Bought the JavaScript course as recommended by Reddit. Purchased at full price it's been great and am enjoying his teaching techniques

    • That's a god tier procrastinating

A udemy deal with courses that still cost money?

  • Has anyone done this course personally?

I've been looking for a good course for a while to level up my web dev skills to build bigger projects with consistency to help prevent spaghetti code

I've taken the complete JavaScript course above, and it was good value for the money even at full price. The projects they have as part of the course are great and very well explained, and the course material is clear and in-depth enough to get you going.

      • Thanks for the reply, there are are so many courses out there hard to pick and choose. This sounds like the course to point beginners too.
I am a JavaScript developer by day so I know enough to be dangerous, I am just looking to learn some best practices.

Also taking the JavaScript course, it's been a great course and the only one on udemy I've been able to stick to.
However I would say the advanced courses are probably better suited to you if you're already a dev, this goes over fundamentals and theory with some practical projects to reinforce learning.

      • That says something I have attempted many courses but they often just put me to sleep!
        Thanks for your input.
I am a predominately self taught developer and have been working in industry for over 3 years now. I am just looking to level up to the next stage. Instill good fundamental core concepts in projects that lead to code base longevity and quick development cycles.

        Currently my stack is
ReactJS for front end with a few libraries but try to keep it to a minimum (finding a good library can be hard)
Restful API for the back end in node
        PostgreSQL database
All deployed and hosted on AWS as infrastructure as code using the serverless framework
        Auth0 for authentication
