Dream machine pro slowly coming back down. Needs to go under $500 again to make it close to a good deal

    • Agreed.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

    • UDM-PRO still over $600 for now.
SE price is okay but ETA 15 Dec…..

  • Any chance of a deal on a 16 port ubiquiti switch? The lite or a bigger one?

    • I started with the Lite and liked how it was small and compact. Recently got the Pro to provide a bit more coverage but it's huge in comparison.
Use the UI design website to upload your house floorplan and see if the Lite will provide enough range.

I think you are referring to the access points where as I am referring to the 16 port switches

  • Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m almost certain the razer 14 range caps to 30fps when on battery and there is no way to override it

    • You're right… and wrong. This is enabled when you have battery saving or battery boost enabled. Disable these to override this limit.

      • Yeah that’s something I looked into as well especially the power savings and nvidia settings, it still didn’t override the limit. If anyone plans to buy one, do try it in store/order from razer for easy returns.

        • Disable optimus in the Razer Synapse software??? I honestly can see the advantage of backing the GPU off on battery, but there will be a way to get around it. Your battery may only last an hour or so though if full GPU speed is allowed.

Have blade 14, can remove cap through synapse settings.

  • hey OP, any chance you can post it to new zealand?

  • good, thanks

  • What's the trick with this machine? 1.78kg with that high end specs in a 14" body? How come? Dream laptop indeed

    • The trick is that you'll get better performance out of the same hardware in other laptops due to better cooling and power.
Not to say he razer is bad, it's actually incredible, but that thin form comes at a small cost of performance vs the larger laptops with similar/same hardware

How much in percentage is the discount? The 3070Ti sounds like a better deal for being quite cheaper ($600) without losing much performance.

  • Good price but I would prefer waiting for a couple of months to get the 13th Gen CPU and 40xx GPU on laptop for the AAA game next year.

    • May be more than a couple months? Doesn't it take a good 6-9 months after annoucement to see the new hardware in laptops?
Genuine question, just what I've heard on many YouTube videos when researching lately

i think this is the pattern, it took about 7-9 months after the g15 2022 was announced for it to be in stock in Oz and i was able to get one. so realistically a 2023 model wont really be available to the masses till early Q3 next year, its what i have noticed, plus to also get a good discount will take a while.

Blade 14 with the 3070ti is $700 cheaper and very similar in performance.

  • Just wanted to give my experience with the latest gen Blade 14. Could be Windows 11 or the hardware itself, but randomly unable to wake from sleep, a few crashes, and noticeable performance stuttering in Windows. Also of note, if you use a Fortinet VPN client for IPSEC tunnels, you're going to have a bad time with the Blades.
