    i couldn't find the $498 one, even the one you linked is $499 and is $10 shipping to Sydney CBD? The code should get you free shipping and a bag - well that's what I was told but you can ring and check.

  Am I the only one that cant see the deal for the pad even after checking out? I dont get the free bag or dock and its a minimum of $10 shipping unless i choose pick up.

  EDIT: tried it aagain now, the free shipping works but it still doesnt mention the dock and the case. are they definitely included cause thats the only reason id be willing to pay $500, otherwise i can wait till its cheaper.

  The Asus G74 has now been replaced with the G75.

  From memory the G75 allows for full access to all 4 RAM chip sets, where as the G74 still has the design problem of having to remove the motherboard in order to access the last chip.

  I wonder how you get the coupon code OzBargainJune — Wireless1 has been banned on OzBargain for sockpuppeting since May (3 months ban, as they've had numerous issues before). I wonder how you get a coupon code from them with "OzBargain" and "June" in there…

    Hi Scotty. As mentioned this is now the second G74SX I bought off them. The rep there recognised me as the person who posted the previous deal as I was the first to ask for a $200 discount instead of the camera they were bundling it with. As part of my new deal I managed to negotiate double ram and the ACR game. I asked the rep if they would be willing to do it for all of ozbargain and the manager came over and said yeah sure and set up this code to also include free delivery and some bonuses on the ASUS tablets too which I did not buy. Hence the code. I don't work in retail or have any affiliation with this outfit if that's what you were wondering ;)

  I saw the deal posted this afternoon and immediately called in to the store and they kindly kept a ASUS G74SX for me to pick up tonight (Thanks Cat!). I can confirm they installed the bonus RAM and gave me the bonus AC: Revelations game for free when I mentioned OzBargain and the OzBargainJune promo code.

  After seeing the deal here, went in to Wireless 1 to buy a new Asus G74SX, and with the OzBargainJune code got the bonus RAM and bonus ACR game, all for only $1,499 - such a great deal!
