    Once you sign a PDF document Acrobat Pro does not allow to delete text… I wonder if this one can bypass that.

        More than I trust installing a suspicious app on my PC containing everything.

        I'm logging in via Google SSO so there's no keyhash to be cracked, and I'm not storing sensitive info like drivers licences and Medicare card numbers like certain leaked telcos and health insurers. It's really no different to using Google Drive.

    Note that the "eraser" tool doesn't permanently delete text from the PDF file. It adds a white shape over the top to cover it. So the information is still there and can be gotten by selecting the text under the white shape (if you can manage to do this) and copying it, or by reading the file's raw contents with a different program. So don't use this if you have sensitive information (like contact details, or bank details) that you want to remove from a file, before sharing it.

    The "delete area" tool seems to actually remove stuff, and the "page cutter" does actually delete pages as far as I can see.

    Maybe OP could respond to these concerns? OF course happy to modify my comment if there are no known issues
