Cancelled. Poor CS team are going to have a rough few hours. :(

Wild night, 100% would do this again.

  • Mine got cancelled as well. Lol. Amazon UK must have freaked out by the incorrect price and volume of order and cancelled them all.

"You will be refunded within 3-5 business days."

Seems a long time, would be annoying if money was tight and something else came up.

Did anyone's money actually get taken? Mine didn't and Amazon doesn't usually charge until it's ready to ship.

      • Nope. It shouldn't charge until confirmed

  • Noo cancelled

  • Cancelled… help us Muzeeb!

  • I missed it, dirt cheap!

  • at least they got all of our details and can make ads more targeted going forward :) It would have been a great deal if it was real

  • It certainly looks poor that they canceled this and the 20TB WD Desktop version. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/737967

  • Order has been cancelled, Amazon Uk doesn’t honor any price error

With some persistence I managed to get a promo card from amazon support refunding the difference between the Amazon AU price and the Amazon UK price of $91 (154-62). FYI in case it helps.

    • Well done!
I asked for this specifically and they said they won't do it. Pretty sure my account is flagged as full Karen though

      • I think it really depends on who you speak to. It took quite a bit of persistence to get them to budge.

        • Haha you gotta master the fine line of not going full karen but being firm and adamant at same time. No one wants to help those who go overboard.

Ive always got satisfactory result from chat by doing above.

          • @Bang1: What exactly does that mean? Not up with the modern lingo. I did say that I had been a loyal prime customer for sometime and this wasn't a good way to treat someone, let alone a regular customer, and that I would consider cancelling my subscription after a few disappointing experiences recently.

            • @dinglejerry: Dont worry, it means you did a good job of not pissing off the chat agent. There is only so much they can do. Because the more you do, you will get nowhere. You need to be firm in your stance and persistent however and not give up at the first time they say they cant do anything and not go full aggro on them too.

              • @Bang1: Ah yeah - full on abusing them and calling them names etc is not my go.

  • Anyone got screenshot?

  • Hopefully we get a 4TB for <$100 on Black Friday.

I complained to amazon chat and got it matched. I had to reorder at normal price then they will refund me the difference. Pretty happy with that 😁

They couldnt do it for the several wd orders I placed last night. So we came to an agreement to do just 1 only.

    • Tried this as well and it also worked but only for 1 drive

  • Had my order cancelled.

I had 2 orders and one was shipped today and the other one was cancelled yesterday.

  • Tried and failed to get any compo on this. Oh well.
I wonder how those who were successful did it?

Spoke with agent - agent said Amazon UK had a price increase, so cancelled orders and we needed to re-order at increased price.

Agent then issued a credit of $50 to cover the inconvenience - so can rebuy from Amazon AU at $69 - still a great price.
