Was able to price match at OW $612.75

    • Confirmed, just placed an order too over the phone. Thanks OP!

      • No worries. It's a great monitor and you got it at a very good price. Enjoy!

      • I was able to price match at OW too… saved $33. Spent 15 minutes talking to an unhappy customer service. She must had a bad day, was quite impatience with me, typed in the wrong address and kept sighing.

  • Other than the additional 5% colour accuracy, how is this better than the monitor below, at $400?

    • this one is USBC, for me its a must in 22

    • This one comes with a very good monitor arm

      IPS, USB-C. So, $100 for IPS, $145 for USB-C/alt-mode/PD + hub.

If you have devices which support USB-C/alt-mode and/or Thunderbolt (backward compatible USB-C/alt-mode), then this one is tempting. However, if you have quite a range of USB-C devices, then you will realise this whole USB-C/alt-mode is a mess. There are 2 alt modes (DP 1.2, DP 1.4) supported on this monitor, but there is no smart profiling so you need to manually switch.

It is also a "for now" monitor as we know USB PD 3.1 (not supported by this) is out and who knows what new USB 4/TB4 alt-mode will be (DP 2.0 alt mode seems inevitable). PD on this monitor is 60W only. You cannot win with USB-C, it is just a mess. It's not even HDR400 (i.e. LG didn't even want to bother hacking it to do fake HDR400) so it really is low grade fake HDR.

  • A very similar model, LG 32UN880-B which has a black back (the 32UN88A has a white back) sells for around $900 at other places. Not sure what are the real differences between these two models?

    • I think it's just the white back that's the difference. This monitor is on sale so it normally sells for a similar price to the 32UN880-B. If I was you, I'd get this one.

  • Big power brick. :-(

  • Is this supporting VESA?

P.S.: and the answer is: it does! 100x100mm

  • Check the requirements to see if you can fix it to your desk with the C-Clamp, you might need to drill a hole. This stops me from buying this monitor.

    • Yeah, looking at the same thing. I've got an Ikea bar table that have these vertical wooden side rails than run underneath the table, attached to inside of the legs about 40mm in from the edge of the table.

    • No room for the clamp at all? :(

  • Whats the hz and latency on this monitor?

    • +1

This monitor is aimed at productivity users and has a 60 Hz refresh rate.

Unsure about latency but this is not a gaming monitor.

      • Oh thx Im after 120hz 1ms response for gaming.
