    Go for SSD option.

  • Noob here. If I wanted to use one of the devices as an always on Plex server, would I be better off going with the micro for lower power consumption?

I don't know if this makes a difference but I currently have media saved to an external hard drive.

    • Yeah same question as well. Need to move my docker setup from synology to a sff. Synology getting outdated and slow.

    • Hi I use Lenovo sff 7th Gen i5. Works great for 1080p Plex. Power consumption is higher but have not skipped a bit

    • I'd stick to the larger model purely because it's got more room inside - you can add a storage controller or video card in the future if you ever want to expand your server.
Power consumption isn't much different between the two. Do you have solar ? If yes then you won't notice either.

Shame the 7060 doesn't have a HDMI port. Almost bought it and luckily I thought to check.

It absolutely does output HDMI, you need to use a DisplayPort to HDMI cable.

  • 7060 micro now sold out.
