This looks a heck of a lot like the Coleman Northstar 10P that is selling for $750 everywhere at the moment. So anybody looking for that tent may find this to be a suitable alternative.

  • A great price for this tent. We’ve had ours and so far no dramas. The only downside is the size and weight of the bag.We stick ours on roof racks.

  • No lighting?

    • Buy some $20 Christmas Led lights.

  • We have the model before this. Our friends have this one and the main difference is the awning with sides at the front. Bear in mind that front awning is the blackout part of the tent so if you want to make use of that feature you’ll need to drop it down off the poles every night which might be annoying.

The block out technology really is good though, pretty much complete darkness.

  • I have one, super heavy and easily breaks its frame by wind and sucks warranty service… better go with pole based one or air frame, or Coleman.
