Thanks for the headsup, woulda purchased for the little one because the honeystick ones are a bit outta budget, but looks like they are a better option.
I got the same branded ones for my kids from a retailer last year and you are correct, they snap very easily, the plastic is flimsy. Basically to me they’re probably worth $3

Well, the mechanism on these looks exactly like the items I've tried. But perhaps it's better quality. I'll retract the neg, but it's a warning to others.
If I was to buy again, I'd buy the Honeysticks style (though they appear harder to clean off). But at least you get more crayon and there's no extra plastic wastage that's likely to break.

Appreciate the retraction of the negative vote.
If these are anything like the kmart ones which they look identical to, the plastic bit that holds the crayon out will break on basically first use, and the crayon will also break into tiny bits very easily.
Also look identical to the Officeworks ones for $5 just with 2 extra colours. So worth a neg.
I certainly wouldn't buy this style again - just landfill.
